Me: 1 Binge: 1 Today was tough, but I'm working on getting back into things that helped me during my past successes!

Me: 6 Binge: 2 I have relapsed a bit over the past two months, but I'm working on getting in touch with my self-talk and self-soothing through other means (gym instead of food seems to be working)

So...replying directly didn't so much happen...but great work!

Congrats on the hard work, you look awesome (and I love that dress!)

You look awesome, great work!

It sounds like your head is in the right place, you've got this! I totally agree about the mini-goals. Suddenly you're halfway and you'll feel unstoppable :)

Awesome work!

Here are some in progress shots (I need a full-body shot of where I am now, but haven't taken one yet!) Starting weight 276 About 10 pounds down at 266 229 at Fenway Still have quite a bit to go, but I'm feeling great so far!

I have a feeling I'm too late and have missed the spots, but if there's still space I'm a Hufflepuff :)

So, this is kind of a weird NSV, but I realized that I've lost around 25 pounds since last summer and I can tolerate the heat much more! I'm not a sweaty mess walking from the car to the shops, to meet friends, etc!

Today I'm proud that I had the opportunity to binge, but was able to talk back to ED and get through it. I feel like my recovery is really sticking, and I'm the one who is in control :)

I second this (seeing a counselor)! It can really help you figure out what is causing the binging and ways to stop it

I can't judge how healthy she is, because obviously I don't see what she eats and can only guess based on her appearance...but I have a feeling that the motivation to win 250,000 plays a huge role in how these people approach their at-home weight loss before the finale. I wouldn't be surprised if they were restricting…

On the bodymedia website under settings you can change the METs slider which is what translates to moderate/vigorous activity on the app. I found that mine was set so high when I first purchased my band that I never reached vigorous, despite doing Hiit Workouts and knowing that my heart rate was very high.

I would say look at progress photos (if you've taken any), and post them here in the message boards! People are supportive, and we're all in the same boat. People are uncomfortable complimenting others on weight loss, and we're programmed to look in the mirror and see the bad stuff. I don't know many people who can look in…

For me binging isn't about how much I'm eating throughout the day...it's about trying to escape my emotions (even boredom). I could eat three meals, and still binge on something in the evening. Even if the calories don't pile up past 1,000, I still feel out of control. So, I'm working on counting calories and exploring why…

Tried this and apparently I have a medium frame...although it doesn't feel like it at the moment! All of these success stories are encouraging, I can't wait until I can post my before/afters here

I second this! It's filling and calming (which helps because I'm a night-owl). I also pop in a piece of sugar free bubblegum. I know that for some people this actually makes them hungry but for me just going through the motions can help if I'm having a really bad sweet craving.

Great work!

I'm 24. Feel free to add me for support!

Tried this tonight and it was delicious!

I completed the 30 DS a while back (it felt like an accomplishment because I barely worked out before I started). I lost a bunch of inches, but not that much weight. I think that the people who experience the most dramatic weight loss follow her diet plan to a T. On the other hand, I didn't eat the calories I burned…

I started off using Crystal Light as a way to get over my soda addiction, and it took me a couple months but I'm now back on plain, refreshing water. I think my trick is to get a water bottle (mine is a Nalgene), which holds about 4 glasses of water. I know how much I need to drink and it helps me track it. On a side note,…

I have to agree, unfortunately there isn't much you can do, except ensuring that if you do approach him about it you do it in a non-judgmental way!

This is awesome advice. I've struggled with my weight...basically as long as I can remember. I yo-yo, and I just recently gained back 20 lbs I had lost (blergh, now I have 100 lbs to lose to get to a healthy weight). Instead of getting too discouraged I'll plan to do this tomorrow!
