Yup! Worth the investment.

Sounds like a lot of work to accommodate other people. Skip the headphones and buying new shirts and forcing yourself to look mean and grumpy. When someone starts talking, just interrupt and say firmly "Please don't talk to me." It's short and to the point, and they will definitely get the hint.

Were both of them washed and dried? Maybe the ones from the 80's have gone through many more dryer (i.e. shrinking) cycles?

I used to weigh myself every day, because I liked tracking the daily fluctuations. Now they're too annoying, so I just weight once a week. The scale moves more dramatically than the daily weight, and gives me something to look forward to.

No idea why you did, but I suspect it's just that you wanted something sweet and chocolatey. I have over 25 pounds of chocolate in my house most of the time. I add 100 cals of it to my daily intake. Every day without fail. It helps reduce the cravings.

Yes, pizza is probably better than Cap'n Crunch. No surprises there.

Star Fruit - 40 cals for a large one. I guess it's all just water?

Everyone is different. I'm 6'. I followed the MFP plan precisely and have lost 20 pounds since Thanksgiving Day.

Have you *ever* kept a secret?

Yup, I did. They were all dead. And headless. Worked in a fish processing plant for a summer. I put each of them into their own little plastic baggie. @angel4732

I'm in the same boat (but half as many marathons under my belt). I have a fall marathon and am running about the same mileage per week now (some smaller races until training starts). I find I can lose weight early in the season, but once the long runs hit 15 miles (24 km) or more, I can't keep that daily calorie deficit.…

It's not just women who need chocolate. ;) I eat 100 calories of chocolate every day. I'ts part of my diet plan. 90% cacao seems be more satisfying than the overly sweet chocolate candies. I also add unsweetened cocoa to my protein shake after a run.

I see this target value (0.8 grams) all over the web, but mostly it is per kg of body weight.

Ditto on the chocolate. I eat 100 calories of dark chocolate every day. Yes, I wish it was more sometimes. But knowing I'm entitled to it every day, makes it much easier to go with less. My profile pic is one of my truffles that I make as a hobby. Can you imagine fighting that chocolate urge? Ditto on the running. I…

My feelings exactly. I use a Garmin for running and have tried a few different kinds of pedometers (mount on shoe, belt, and wrist), but none of them were really close to being accurate. If you are always walking with the same gate, they might be good, but your stride length changes with incline and pace. If the gimmick…
