My baby is 2 weeks old. I see doc in 2 more weeks to see if I can be released to normal activities. I have 10 children total.

I'm 42 and just birthed my 10th baby 2 weeks ago. Need motivation and friends to keep me accountable.

I don't know. Maybe something with food tracking? I'm terrible about not eating enough during the day and then trying to make up calories at night.

I have a 4 month old that I need to lose weight from. He is my 9th child. Congrats on your babies. P.S. the 5th is a great day for a birthday. My 2nd son just turned 14 on that day.

Thanks or all the ideas. My oldest (the 15 year old) and his 13 year old brother are both off to Iowa for wrestling camp this week. They both worked some of the suggestions you gave into a schedule for here at the house.

She is a really nice lady. I love that she is a real mommy, going through the same body image struggles that most of us go through.

food before 1 just for fun! We don't do any food before 6 months. When we start we do veggies first. Cereal is useless.

I agree with the idea of just dropping by and checking in on her. Offer to go out on a walk with the babies or something. Getting out of the house can help and knowing you are not alone really helps!

OK, thanks. My son is just 16, and at 5'8" he's pretty thin at about 145 lbs. So, I was wondering if your son was already well underweight at 115-ish. I'm not gonna go checking any charts.... but I'll assume that he's not skinny to the point of being unhealthy. I shouldn't have doubted you in the first place. :blushing:…

Do you mind if I ask ( which is what we do, just before we go ahead and ask, anyways ) how tall your son is? [/quote] 5' 2.5" - maybe 5' 3" by the end of the summer.

anything in particular for a lifting schedule?

Wilsoje74, I will have to ask about that. I know the football team is doing stuff this summer but I have no idea if it is open to other athletes. Unfortunately we live 30 minutes from town so going in to use the gym or track every day can be hard for us. Luckily we live on a farm in the country so he has lots of…

I haven't done a good job of logging but I have been tracking. So far I have done 4 miles.

Protein powders often are high in heavy metals. You should check with your doctor to make sure though. I would look for as natural a protein powder as possible if you are going to use it. I try to be as organic and all-natural as possible when pregnant/breast feeding. Check out this article…
