  • This is sooooo true. You can't change the past, so use it as a reminder of why you're eating healthy and counting calories. Water and back on track ASAP! We all have our days where we just suck at eating good, a healthy lifestyle is an ongoing process and we're always going to have off days.

  • Thanks, I'm going to do my best!!!
  • I'll do 30DS with you...My 27th birthday is in March and I would love to lose a lot before then.
  • Absolutely count me in! I did 4 weeks back in August then got sick and never got back into it. Definitely go with what the others said, good shoes and padded floor for sure. I personally do mine on carpet because that's what is available but I don't think I could do it no hardwood or tile.
  • I did the first 4 weeks of TF back in August and loved it. Unfortuantely I got sick & never got back into it. I would love to join y'all if y'all would have me. I definitely need somebody to hold me accountable and make sure I'm doing it.
  • I would love to join! I hated my dance professor in college for making us plank but now I am thankful...don't tell her that though! I'll start day 1 today!
  • Okay, maybe my ambitions are too high considering I'm just starting out...should I lower my goal? Or just do my best to get to 50 and if I don't make it oh well?
  • 12/2 - 3.0 12/4 - 3.20 12/9 - 1.50 Total - 7.70 42.3 to go
  • I weigh 161 right now and my goal weight is somewhere between 130 & 135. Once I get there, I'll see how I feel.
  • With the crappy weather here this weekend, I didn't get to walk any. Hopefully I can make up for it this week. I've got a lot of catching up to do!
  • I would love to join y'all!!! This is my first month being back on MFP in quite a while. I've got to get this extra weight off and this will be a perfect place to start. This month my challenge will be 50 miles and below are my totals so far. 12/2 - 3 miles 12/4 - 3.20 Total - 6.20 43.8 to go Can someone tell me how to add…
  • timbrom, I agree portion control is important, but the argument was that if you ate junk food you just had to exercise portion control and it wasn't bad. I disagree with that. Thanks for the ideas, keep them coming. Hopefully I can try some out this weekend.
  • I use to bake my chicken like this with just salsa on top, not all of the other ingredients but I never even thought of doing it in the crock pot. That sounds delicious & my kids would probably love it too!
  • Grilled pizza is one of my favorites. I sell Pampered Chef and we came out with a pizza pan specifically for the grill last year of course I had to try it, it's amazing! I haven't made one this year but last year it was a staple in our menu every week. My picky kids loved it too.
  • It's actually the milk protein that he's allergic to. While it's not in all dairy, it's actually in a lot of other stuff. It's a rather large pain. However, I think if I can substitute almond for regular milk and cook from scratch it won't be such a daunting task.
  • Thanks! I've been trying to tell the hubby that we need to get the little guy away from soy because it's not great for him. He definitely likes almond better than soy and I've convinced him so far to do 1/2 and 1/2 so I'm slowly working the almond into his diet over the soy. Now if I can just convince him that it's okay…
  • Thanks guys, we typically do but my hubby doesn't like the taste of anything other than regular milk. So, he wants to try to not have to substitute. I hope that made sense.
  • Sounds delicious, definitely going to try it, I bet my kids would love it too!
  • The chicken salad recipe that coliemarieale posted above, is my husband's favorite. He wouldn't eat chicken salad and thought it was disgusting but I started putting grapes and even put nuts (pecans usually) in it from time to time and he can't get enough of it now. It's definitely a comfort food for us. Our kids love it…
  • Hi, I'm new to the community but not new to MFP. I'm a SAHM of 2, my husband and I have a 3 year old daughter and a 19 month old son. We are from south Mississippi and I am trying to lose weight for several reasons, I definitely want to set a good example for my kids to help them lead a healthy life, I also want to do it…
  • I am a 24 year old SAHM of 2 and haven't been able to lose any weight since having my son 19 months ago. I feel so blah all of the time and hate getting dressed because I hate the way I look in all of my clothes. I was always on the thinner side before I got married and had kids so I've never had to diet before. I hate…
