Help you mom, cook with her and then clean dishes and kitchen Ask her to let you cook some meal. You know what she likes to eat, find a healhty version recipe and cook together. My mom thinks food as reward so when she likes you , she will give your junk food. Your mom probably was raised the same way.

Zumba in water ? That's a good work out specially for the abs. My health club does not have it. Maybe I send them an email

My thighs are actually smaller and leaner than before (I'm on month 2 of insanity) but the quads do look a little bigger. Pilates does give you a lean tone legs. Insanity does build upper body muscle.. lots of push up, Vpushup.. but it's not "Chunky" look.

I only lose 2 lb and did not see any changes in measurement until week1 of month 2.

I do zig zag calorie & carb also. I do like it. Because there are days I don't like to eat and vice versa. I also can save my calorie for certain event in the week. I only have to make sure I have enough protein for the day and that's it. Eating high calorie once a week, helps regulate hormones and keep metabolism high.…

I did not lose 1,2 pant size but I like my HOT pants. It keeps my legs muscle warm, more support so I have less knee pain. I do high impact work out, a lot of jumping. The pants is very comfortable & I look good in it. I plan to buy another one when they have it on Groupon.

Asian stores have faked fish in frozen section. It has the shape of the fish cover in seaweed. It tastes really good if you fry them. You can not make the same "meat" texture as the manufacture since they have special machine to pound on flour. I think you may try to add gluten flour in the meat so they can be more chewy.

Fasting workout on month 2? It would be "impossible" at least for me. I have to have some carb drink or eat my Performance energy bar during the work out. I just keep the same Macros as Insanity suggeste. Eat most the carbs before & after Insanity work out.

I want to eat the same calorie as month 1 but if I'm hungry I can have 200 cal more a day.

I don't think it's a good idea since there is a lot of jumping but if you want to do it. Get a high impact foam mat ( I got 1 at walmart for $18), it helps protect your knees. Charlean Turbo Fire also does burn lots of fat and she does not jump much. Check her out, you may like it.

Actually the soup tastes really good and quite satisfy. I make a batch at least once a month.

I use cup for for measurement. 1 cup of cooked brown rice is 213 cal.

Also take a topless pic. The last diet I did, my measurement did not change but my jeans got longer so I know I l did lose fat.

And do a low carb diet. It will help lose water weight fast (5+ lb), also give your face a lean look.

Were you on a diet? If so you lose both fat and muscle. Also the older we get, we also lose more muscle mass. Weight lifting would help but it does not mean it would save all your lean muscle mass.

I'm 180 lbs 29% body fat 5'1 size 12P. If I wan to go down to 20% body fat, I will weight around 160 lbs. If I want to lose more weight, I will have to lose muscle mass :( . You should ask your trainer why she said that.

TDEE - 20% is the best way to go. Today I burned over 1000 cal , should I eat them all back? hec no! I do use MFP method.. eating back my exercise calorie since it motivates me to work hard for my work out but I won't eat more than TDEE cal - 500 cal.

I'm in the same boat on week 5, recovery week. I do hope I will lose more inches on month 2. I only lose 2 lbs so far but my upper body is so strong so I probably lose more than 2 lbs of fat. I hope you take your pic so you can compare with after you are done with the program. The reason keep me going is look at insanity…

Month 1 is prep for month 2 work out. You will burn calorie in Max series so if you can handle month 2 then go for it.
