My overall goal is to be slim and toned. I'm afraid to do Insanity becuase i don't want to make my thighs bigger than what they already are. So my question is would a mixture if Pilates and Insanity help me build slim muscles?

My thighs are actually smaller and leaner than before (I'm on month 2 of insanity) but the quads do look a little bigger.
Pilates does give you a lean tone legs.
Insanity does build upper body muscle.. lots of push up, Vpushup.. but it's not "Chunky" look.0 -
I'm currently working a mix of P90X, P90X Plus, and Insanity (yeah, a little loony, I know... but I like the mix of intense cardio, plyo, and muscle building)... what I found through the first couple of months of Insanity was more defined legs... the best way to describe it would be 'runners legs'... it's a lot of jumping around... for me, it stripped any fat i had on my legs (if it only worked that efficiently on my mid section! - genes be damned!), but didn't create any bulk.0

I am currently doing Insanity (start month 2 tomorrow), and my legs have gotten a lot smaller. You can really see my muscle a lot better now, but that hasn't made my legs look bigger. I would suggest just going with Insanity. It's a great program if you are looking to get lean and lose weight!0
