  • This will be great to be a part of a community. I am trying to get to 10,000 steps every day. I will definitely do it tomorrow. 2.1 5000 steps 2.2 5000 steps 2.3 7000 steps
  • I would try a cleanse first. My mom did the cleanse and avoided surgery. I do the cleanse regularly just to flush my liver so that it doesn't back up into the gallbladder. I use Dr. Hulda Clark's with olive oil and grapefruit. Changing your diet is even more important, but the cleanse will get rid of the stones.
  • You are doing great! I lost 100 pounds in about 6-7 months and I had boundless energy and healthy numbers as far as heart rate, blood pressure, cholesterol, etc. I think I lost about 20 pounds in my first month and that was before I gave up dairy completely. Listening to your body and knowing you are actually hungry is a…
  • Woo Hoo! It only gets better from here! Just do it!
  • I do eat egg whites and spinach, but more often I may eat salmon or tilapia for breakfast, cold shrimp too. No longer do I think of certain foods for certain meals. Since I have a lot of weight to lose and want to be more muscular, I eat loads of protein and eat what I can get wild at the market. I have eaten shark for…
  • Hi! My name is Rae and I am an elementary assistant principal, a PhD student in my last year, and getting married for the first time November 24th of this year! I am 45 years old. I successfully did 55 days of Whole30 starting July 22nd and only stopped my streak because of my best friend's wedding. I got sick after…
  • This and you probably won't have to take the medicine for the rest of your life. "The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but instead will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease." Thomas Edison

  • I love that you found something that has worked for you! Your journey is inspiring! I too have failed when trying to follow everyone's advice, but have been highly successful with experimenting and finding what works best for me. IF is something I just recently have discovered from a successful friend on MFP. When your…

  • This :) I typically eat between 900-1000 and I feel full. Even when I exercise intensely, I do not feel hungrier! I do drink more water or eat protein late at night if I am still hungry, but I try not to eat carbs late at night because they may convert to fat :) You have to do what is right for you and not right for…
  • I agree...seafood is great....why would you celebrate weight loss with a bad food item? Say goodbye to your kg.....Be kind to yourself and always celebrate with healthy choices :)

  • I think food consumption, health, and fitness is as diverse as we are and we need to experiment with what works best for each of us. I have tried what works for my friends or family and it doesn't work me for me and they try what works for me and it doesn't work for them, but with experimentation, I have found increased…
  • You so did make your goal! And 5.5 pounds more today....you can totally make 219....maybe even 215...how about 210? I am glad I am on this ride with you :)

  • I tell them that I eliminated all processed food and drink so that my liver can digest instead of detox! When my liver is not detoxing, it is burning fat efficiently. I eat fresh fruit, vegetables, lots of fish, chicken, and meat, and as clean as possible! Some respond with "ah you are a cavewoman" or "you're doing…
  • For 55 days I have increased my protein dramatically and the only fruit I eat are blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, an occasional peach or apple. I limit my carbs to 50 g a day. I gave up dairy about 10 days ago. I consistently lose on average about 4 pounds per week. I have not been tempted to binge on…

  • I am on Day 7 and feel fantastic. August 1st would be my day 11. I would love to join and reciprocally support :)
  • I want to try something new :) I need to change it up! I love the mountain biking idea :) Let us know how it goes!
  • I have been making a big effort to get my eight hours of sleep and I really think it is working! I had a great loss this week. I have also been taking bubble baths and they serve two purposes: relaxation and getting the stink gone from sweating so much in my workouts!
  • I am on day 4 of the Whole30 :) I feel great, since I just had to cut out dairy. I had already cut everything else and followed that for 45 days.
  • I have lost 32 pounds in 49 days! I am sated as far as hunger is concerned and have tons of energy!
  • I agree with MonkeyDrama and Macphean! I know I am serious about this lifestyle change because I don't cheat! 47 days in of eating clean and I feel fantastic...better than I did at the height of my fitness in my 20's and 30's. I am day 3 of Whole30 because I hadn't totally given up dairy, but am doing so now. I still have…
  • I am starting the Whole30 today! I have essentially given up everything but dairy and I already had reduced dairy to a couple days of week. I can do this! If you want to friend me, it would be great to have friends doing the challenge!
  • Stick with it! You are going to love it! I have been doing it for 45 days and love it! Today is my first day of eliminating dairy and doing the Whole30. I had already given up the grains, legumes, alcohol, etc. My first week was my worst week, but kept at it with promises of new energy. Now I work out about two to three…
