  • I'll admit, I'm a Beachbody coach, but if you eat properly (and eat enough) and stick to the T25 plan, you'll get great results. I bought the program so I could waive fees when I signed on as a coach because I'd had other programs work so well for me (they've helped me lost 50lbs...no lie). I just completed my first week…
  • Has to do with the weight and amount of food left after one serving. There are two servings, but they're not both the same size...so technically you could get a cup for the first serving and a cup+ in the second one leading to beyond 2 full servings in the pie. Bad advertising.
  • There's no normal weight for anyone. It's all in your body make up and composition/shape, height, etc. Weight fluctuates for everyone...I know all too well. When I started, I was tight in an 18 and weighed 229lbs. A person could have weighed the same as me but may have seemed much smaller and worn smaller sizes due to…
  • I'm between 5'6 and 5'7 and started at 229lbs in a tight 18, comfortable 20. Currently comfortable in a 14 at 178lbs. Goal weight is 140-150 and whatever pant size that goes with that (hopefully a size 10!). I gain and lose pretty evenly but was more pear shape this time around when I started.
  • Oh, and if you're looking for even cheaper...you basically need to put the oils back in your lengths. Olive oil and coconut oil would be good!! Olive oil would probably be the cheapest of those two options.
  • Use a deep conditioning treatment a few times a week or leave conditioner in your lengths during the day or at night (with a cap on). Additionally, if you have a beauty supply store near you, you might want to pick up a bottle of purple shampoo that keeps your hair from turning funky colors. The brand I used/use is called…
  • Don't believe everything you see on the internet. If Dr. Oz is backing something, he is either being paid to do it or he fully believes in it but I guarantee it's not a "diet pill" if he believes in it. He's very anti-diet pill otherwise. There is no magic pill that will take the weight off and keep it off. I took…
  • MFP calculations are often way off for me...I just bought a Polar heart rate monitor (HRM) to make sure I'm recording the correct amount of calories burned. I also had to manually change my "goals" for my macronutrient levels because it was WAY off. The treadmill will give you a more accurate read if you put your…
  • I didn't like it at first so I started adding adding lots of fresh lemons or berries to it. I know a lot of people who do it now. Try it out :-)
  • Amazing progress!! You deserve tons of recognition for all your hard work...it's difficult, but the best fight to win!! Congratulations!!
  • Love the progress pictures!!! Do you do any type(s) of strength or resistance training other than the cardio'ish activities you listed? I'm 5'6ish and started at 229 and lost the first 29lbs easily, but am stuck at 200 now even though I do lots of cardio and have my eating down pretty well. Your transformation is awesome!!…
  • Awesome job!! Very inspirational...I'm 3lbs away from being out of the 200 club and it's killing me!! Can't wait to join you!
  • Awesome job! I can definitely notice it in your midsection and your back! Big difference! Keep going, you're doing great!
  • I wouldn't worry too much about losing a lot of weight the first couple/few weeks. Any doctor or dietician I've ever spoken to stated heavier people lose more weight during the first few weeks, basically because they have more to lose. Props to you for starting out strong on your journey! Just make sure you're eating…
