Currently reading House of the Dragon. Just trying to stay ahead of the series. :)

Just finished Yes, We (Still) Can by Dan Pfeiffer. Not sure what my next book is going to be. Chuck Wendig's The Book of Accidents is coming out in a few days so I might hold off on starting another audio book, but I'm also in the middle of reading John Scalzi's Old Man's War.

I just finished How The Word Is Passed by Clint Smith and can't recommend it enough. He has a way with words and even his prose can often sound poetic. I'm now listening to The Masked Rider: Cycling in West Africa by Neil Peart. The first of his traveling books that I had initially read almost 25 years ago.

This is almost me - I was at 297 and I'm 80 pounds down as of this morning, but I want to get to 195. Very inspiring to see someone else achieve that. Thanks for posting!

I am down to the last hole on my belt.

Got on a plane last week and I didn't need to adjust the seat belt all the way to the end of the strap and there was actually some room around me on the seat. Also, I put on a shirt that I had bought on vacation a number of years ago and was never able to wear, and it fits.

Really happy with my loss over the last week. Staying just under my calories and lots of running worked for me this week. Can't believe I'm already under my calories for the month. I was able to wear a t-shirt that I had bought on vacation 4 years ago and it never looked good. In general, finding clothes in my closet and dresser drawers that I haven't been able to wear and having them fit is like getting a whole new wardrobe. I'm also almost down 4 notches on my belt - closing in on the last one.

Well, we took a mini vacation over the weekend and I had some meals that really didn't fit into my calories. Even though I ran every day, I managed to pack a couple of pounds on. But, the last couple of days have gotten me back on track and managed a small loss. So, we'll take that. MFP Start Weight: 297.6 April Startโฆ

March's weight loss came in like a lion and went out like a lamb. Things slowed down at the end of the month so I'm setting a smaller weight loss goal for the month. I have stalled out the last few days. It's ok, still a good month and very happy with my progress, but it will temper my goals for April. I was almost to 240 yesterday, but somehow weighed more this morning. Guess it's just the ups and downs of weight loss as I got lots of exercise and ate well. Two more days and, no matter what, it's been a great month. March Start Weight: 260.4 March Goal Weight: 250 Ultimate Goal Weight: 205 Mar 1: 260.4 Mar 8: 255.6โฆ

"unapproved"? Who's taking a vaccine that hasn't been approved? Who are you waiting on approval from? You can't even make a coherent point anymore. This is just getting sad.
-
Why do you keep talking about the "remote control"? What does that have to do with anything? Are you trying to be clever or just a troll? Your retort of "where's your degree?" does nothing to further your argument, just to prove that you're an anti-vaxxer who gets their information from untrustworthy or unverified sites.โฆ

My wife got her first on Wednesday, thankfully no side effects. I get my first tomorrow and hoping for the same.

Congratulations on your success! I completely understand about the hunger. I've been at it (well, this round on my yo-yo) for a couple of months and I said to my wife the other day, "when will I stop being hungry all the time?" Sometimes it depresses me and other times, I use it as a vanquished foe - I beat you today,โฆ

I weigh and track daily, but I really try to focus on three or five day averages. I know that there are ups and downs so I don't sweat a little bump in the road. But, weighing every day helps me, over time, learn what works and doesn't work.

I hit my last mini goal of running for 30 minutes and I'm pretty consistently doing that now. Next up is to run a 5k in that time. My pace is pretty slow at this point, but I've seen bits of improvement so I'm optimistic.

Started off really well, but slowed down towards the end of the week. Still, 3 pounds makes me a happy boy. March Start Weight: 260.4 March Goal Weight: 250 Ultimate Goal Weight: 205 Mar 1: 260.4 Mar 8: 255.6 Mar15: 248.6 Mar 22: 245.6 Mar 29:

Well, if you have proof that people that have been fully vaccinated are still able to spread the virus, I'd love to see it. The rest of your post is nonsense.
-
"my findings"? $100 says you got all of this from FB and not any actual research you did.

My first wife died from cervical cancer, most likely caused by HPV. I would prefer her to still be around, fertile or not.

Yes, I joined the challenge. It was not particularly motivating - the idea of winning a gift card is nice, but it's too easy. 40 meals in 30 days is too simple to hit. Make it harder so people that are really working at it have a better chance of winning and I might be more motivated, but I logged every meal in that timeโฆ

Another great week. Got my running up to 30 minutes per day and stayed under my calorie goal. March Start Weight: 260.4 March Goal Weight: 250 Ultimate Goal Weight: 205 Mar 1: 260.4 Mar 8: 255.6 Mar15: 248.6 Mar 22: Mar 29: Mar 31:

5 or 6 weeks ago, my goal was to get my weight down to a point where I felt I could start running again. I did that, and I'm slowly building up my time (distance will come later). So, now my mini goal is to run for 30 minutes (I'm almost there) and then it will be to do a 5K in that time. My miles are very slow right now,โฆ

Hoping with the nicer weather I can continue to increase my running time and distance and keep losing weight. I'm closing in on "obese" instead of "severely obese", so I've got that going for me.
