I kept trying to drum up the willpower to work out, but it was a no go....UNTIL 2 am. I was still wide awake and feeling pretty good. I decided it was the perfect time to get it done, and so it happened! I was up until about 4 and then got up at 8:30 (thanks kittens!), but I'm planning on another one today and no nap. It's good I found a workout I really enjoy and I'm so proud of myself for doing it! Also, my pants that were already a little loose now just want to fall down. It's a good day
Awesome post.
And I can identify with it, too. Waking up some mornings, having that, "*kitten* it" mood..... then you just turn it around & just do it. It's so much more satisfying when you finish strong.
It really is! I didn't think I'd really do it, I mean who works out at 2 am? I had worries about never getting to sleep and/or having to shower (which I probably should have). But, it was an amazing feeling and then, I weighed 1.2 pounds less this morning. That helped, too (but that's not an NSV, so I didn't include it).14 -
Finishing up week 3 of 3x/week lifting with one of my BFFs today! She’s been talking about wanting to lift with me for years, finally got started last month.
Bonus NSV is deciding not to sit around and gossip w crazy soccer parents during son’s training session (this team’s parents are total crazy town, it’s ridiculous) and went for a walk instead. Decided to keep that up for the rest of the week’s training sessions plus during other son’s tryouts, so I got a lot of extra walking plus less stress!
Plus I’m about to get on the wall for my third climbing session this week! Feels good to get back to it after so long away bc Covid.21 -
When shops reopen here I'll have to buy a smaller belt. I've gone from a large to a medium over the past two years. Now I need a small!19

Today I have counted calories and been for a walk. I need to look after myself so I can look after him when he gets home 🤒 for me that’s a NSV💪36

That's absolutely a huge thing! I was very active on here about 6 years ago and it all went to pieces when my husband went to the hospital for a week for very unexpected reasons. We were out of town at the time, so I was already eating out everyday, and I just quit everything. Ate whatever junk food was nearby and cried all the time. I'd like to think I would handle it better now. Good for you!11 -

I hope he is better soon! And good for you!6 -
I have enough room to sit on my chair with my kitty lying down beside me - I've gotten a lot smaller as the same time as she's grown up and gotten a lot bigger.21

My coworker came back from 16 months of maternity leave and said she didn't recognize me until I spoke. XD
I'm on vacation this week and I don't feel guilty about planning to eat at maintenance. I haven't felt guilty about eating too much this year at all, though it's happened quite a few times. My relationship with food has never been so good.30 -
it's 90° here today so I tried on a skort I couldn't wear last year and it fits nicely! It looks good too, and I've gotten compliments on it. Feeling good!!18

Those are my favorite NSVs! That is great!4 -
I brought a beautiful ice blue swim suit about 6 years ago. I have never been able to wear it until now. I still love it as much as the day I saw it.18

I usually binge to cope with anxiety, particularly health anxiety. Had a bad bout earlier while preparing dinner, with my favourite pain au chocolats, yogurt and biscuits within range. However, this time I stopped to process my emotions and compromised on a serving of strawberries instead. The act of preparing them in itself was soothing, and I actually felt better - not worse, like usual! - before and after eating.
I was able to talk myself out of a binge and remain in a deficit. I'm so happy!!28 -
I had awesome improvements in my bloodwork and blood pressure at my follow-up appointment last week!20

I recommitted to losing the extra pounds and got signed up for Myfitnesspal!31

Last night had to get down on the floor to deal with a computer cord issue. My phone went off (naturally) so I got back up to deal with that, back down to fix the thing, got up--two months ago I NEVER would have gotten on the floor at all, for fear I wouldn't be able to get back up!20

Today I can now walk 2-4 miles easily. About a month and half ago, I was doing good to walk half a mile.25
-
Today I went on a 10K hike, one I've done many times. Since April I've taken 30 minutes off my time, I'm so excited about that!22

I went to the store tonight and bought myself something I can work in as a sweet treat over the next couple weeks. The NSV is: I bought the small version that's less calories because I know that that will be just as tasty as the full size one for me, and I didn't get one when I got home. I don't have calories budgeted for it. I'll have it when I do.23

I've gone walking every day for a week!! I rarely get out and move because A) I'm embarrassed and it hurts to get up and get out there, but I am doing it!31

The nice thing is that the more you consistently do it, the pain diminishes.

I pulled my favorite hoodie out of the back of the closet (The Land of Misfitting Clothes) and it fits perfectly!
It's time to do a closet rotation and donate the clothes that don't fit because they are too big. It feels good to be able to say that!27 -
I'm on the last hole of my belt... the right way! I "tightened" my belt to the only hole I could get to 1.5 months ago and it hangs loose.18

my lunch at work today, I stopped when I felt full and threw the rest away. I didn't keep eating just because it was there.24

Wearing my wedding ring for the first time in several years.25

My skirts are fitting a bit more loosely now.15
-
I finally fit in the bath tub. And the water covers my body!25

I started doing a lot of core/abs exercises by fitness blender last year. A couple of weeks ago I had a fall that sprained my back a bit. Had I not worked on my core, I think I would've been immobile. It's the core exercises that strengthened my back and saved me21

I am down to the last hole on my belt.20

Dimples getting more pronounced and rocking a two piece 😌
