Had to google NSV lol.
Fit into an old shirt that I accidentally purchased too small and never wore.21 -

The NSV is that once my son and I had walked back to the first aid point and sorted out my face (stemmed the bleeding and applied ice), we carried on with our run.
We also remembered to calculate the distance from where I'd fallen to the first aid point and added that onto the total distance as I forgot to stop my distance tracker.
But we finished the run.
My face is a mess though, grazed outer lip, chin and nose, three cuts inside my mouth, swollen lower lip and nose. Have to drink through a straw (tea through a straw just does not taste quite right).
Does this qualify me as a runner proper, now?
You're not supposed to face plant on your actual FACE! Good job carrying on, hope you heal quickly!
I know, I know . . . but these things happen so fast. It was a manhole cover, i stepped onto it with my right foot and caught it with my left foot and . . . over I went. Splat.
I really just wanted to examine the gravel in close detail. I wasn't planning on eating it though.
It looks a lot worse this morning (think: gravel rash from chin to eyebrows, swollen nose and lower lip, no skin on middle of lower lip plus lots of bruising) but it feels much better, not so painful. But more importantly, I can drink tea normally again28 -
I was out for lunch yesterday and ordered a healthy option of a backed potatoe with tuna and a side salad. I was amazed at how full I felt, I didn't even finish the meal and didn't even contemplate a cake afterwards. 6 weeks ago I would have polished off the entire plate and still had cake!29

A lady who works at my current university, who didn't know me 'before', just told me I couldn't really understand her struggle with her weight because "you're so slim".
...actually I'm still towards the 'obese' end of 'overweight', I just carry my weight in my thighs and hips where it isn't so obvious. But dear good gods, that is not a way I ever expected to be described.35 -
Put on my pants this am - can pull them off my body 3 inches or more. They are suddenly too big.20

Had to buy new underwear yesterday. I had recently bought and fit into a size 30 pants, so I was looking at what size underwear I'd fit into, and according to the chart I'd be a small. I was extremely skeptical, but I figured if they didn't fit I'd keep them until they did and just buy some that would fit me. So I got them home and unraveled one, only to see how damn small they are. I was extremely dubious that it'd even get past my thighs. Thinking I was only kidding myself, I tried them on... And they fit! I could not believe it, I still can't really believe it. (Now if only my stomach would catch up with my waist, lol.)23

My shoes are too big, and my rings are all loose!15

Not until you have a black toe. Sorry, but face plant just means you're clumsy.
(totally kidding and hope you heal quick).

My fat pants were getting loose, so I pulled out my medium size pants and... BOOM! Fit like a glove!20

I know about the black toe. I have one on my the second toe of my left foot and a matching one on my right.4 -
I know that the scales that calculate BF % (the ones where you hold the bars and it scans you) are not super accurate, but as trends go, I've gone from 26% last March to 19% this month!25

I just had some ice cream. I stopped eating it when I was satisfied rather than finishing the two cups just because it tasted good.15

1 week cigarette free!
I allowed myself 5 days of anything BUT cigarettes and even though I gained a couple of pounds, I *feel* healthier, am breathing better, and working out is so much easier!
My last cigarette was after Zumba last Monday. I was so wiped out! This Monday, I went and hit a DL PR after Zumba!67 -
@aeloine A week without cigarettes - Awesome!4

I just have the one on my left toe. And I actually got it from X-Country skiing, but I still claim it makes me a runner.5 -
I have a few: I keep having to pull my pants up. I was actually able to wear a pair of skinny jeans that have been at the bottom of my drawer because they were tight, uncomfortable and made me look fat. I was able to wear them last week and thought they looked pretty good! I discovered the art of logging a day ahead of time, and it's helping me stay within my goals and even plan out treats!17

When I voted today, the woman checking my ID gasped and said, "Wow! You've lost a lot of weight."19
