I have some plastic sizers to keep them on my finger for now, but I don't think I'll be able to have them resized, just because of the material and design. They weren't expensive and I'd be happy to continue to support the Etsy shop where they originally came from, but I've barely been married 6 months! LMAO
A better NSV: My boobs (in a bra) stick out further than my belly does when I'm standing. So I got that going for me, which is nice.
I used a metal resizer to keep my wedding ring on, then a year or so after I started maintenance I found a local jeweler that did lessons, together we made a sterling silver band to fit inside the wedding ring, so it was resized by adding another layer rather than taking some of the ring away and making it smaller. If you get in touch with the Etsy shop they may be able to do something similar.
Now if someone could tell me how to make the picture smaller.....

Not sure how to do it from a phone, but whenever I post a pic in a thread, I first open it in an app that lets me resize the image to under 800 pixels on the longest side.

I comfortably fit into a pair of jeans I bought 2 years ago when I was losing weight (before I fell off the bandwagon for almost 2 years!) they were a size too small when I bought them, but they were good cowgirl up jeans on sale for like $20 and I was confident I would fit into them in the future, well it took me longer than I’d hoped, but that future is now!24

I am swimming in the men's large sweatshirt I bought last November.16
-
Zipped into a pair of jeans that I haven't been able to wear.

I was just working on the computer and was sitting up straight in my chair, maybe even leaning forward a bit, and there was enough room for my rotund little girlkitty to sit on my lap!15

I’ve been too intimidated to try the stairclimber at the gym. I’m only 5’2 and it looks so high up there. I have also been super morbidly obese up until recently so there is a deep seated fear of falling because good luck hobbling around when you get injured at that size. I waited until about 5 mins before the gym closed and then got on it for the first time yesterday. My legs felt so wobbly and my palms sweaty from fear. My mind kept screaming “omg your fat *kitten* is going to fall and die *kitten*.” But I didn’t. So I went back and did 300 floors in about 40 minutes today. I was standing straight the entire time and not using my arms to support my weight.44

Ran my first 10k on Saturday.27
-
I logged in for 30 days straight as of today!
Also, I ate ice cream and sushi and other not-great things yesterday and my body feels like garbage this morning. I consider this a NSV because I used to eat WAY more than that before joining MFP and be fine. I think it's a sign my body is adapting to a healthier lifestyle and wants better/less food!24 -
Ran my first half marathon in a year on Saturday. Earned myself a new PR of 1:46:13. Shaved just over 10 minutes off my time and defeated all those nagging thoughts of it's not actually a race, you can walk at any point in time and it won't matter, your just doing this for fun so slow down... Feeling it today but it was worth it.24

HUGE victory!! so happy for you to face your fears!! I have not tried a stair stepper because of the same concerns, and now I live in an area where there is no gym. great job!4 -

That seems like a lot to do (300 floors) for basically the first time exercising on it! Im wondering if you'll be super sore 2 days from now. I hope not!3 -
I’ve exercised for seven days in a row. I’m sore , but proud!20

First time posting a NSV!
I started tracking food again and building up active time back in January. I measured myself in March (kicking myself for not doing when I was starting, but I was not in the headspace to compete with myself then).
2 months later and this morning I measured 4.6in less all over!! My weight isn't reflecting that, but I was shocked. I thought my husband was just trying to make me feel better, but I am getting smaller a tiny bit at a time.18 -
Little over a full year of tracking my calories. In that year I have shaken off about 11 years worth of weight gain, so I am around the same weight I was when I met my hubby. Ofcourse my body is not the same it was back then, boobs and butt were first to go, lol! But I do not mind. I can now go for a bike rides again, help friends move to 3rd floor without even getting tired or out of breath, feeling strong even if I have barely started weight training.
Double chin is almost gone, and my neck and collar bone area is starting to show some shape. I can reach my fingers around my wrist, I have something resembling a waist now. I have replaced a lot of bad habits with new ones.
I will keep going, tho not sure what goals I will set next for myself. There is still a lot to loose but fitness goals are motivating me more now rather than scale or measuring tape. This pace has been easy to maintain without missing out on anything or feeling hungry, but I might up my calories a little bit. Even slower weight loss, but more energy to train.21 -

Agreed! I was amazed by it was as well. I was sweating profusely but I wasn’t completely out of breath or in pain. I was even more surprised when I woke up today and didn’t feel it at all! 🙂 It felt like another victory. But who knows, maybe I’ll feel it tomorrow? I’ve been working out since September 2020 and I currently do two 1 hr cardio sessions on the elliptical or treadmill everyday...it’s about 6-7 miles for me per session. It’s been less than a year and I’ve lost more than I weigh. So while it was my first time on the stairclimber, I am logging more than 100 miles each week at various elevations and resistance levels.19 -
Bodypump class was a breeze this time! Two months ago I barely made it through teaching it.10

Thank you! ❤️ I’d say start walking or taking the stairs when you have the chance and the next time the opportunity presents itself, you’ll feel more confident and ready to face the fear.

I had to go all the way downtown today to pick up a prescription at the hospital for my girlfriend (grumble grumble) and had to park in the parking garage up on the third floor. I was halfway down the stairs before the fact that the elevator was there occurred to me, and I got the prescription, came back, and did the three flights of stairs without hauling myself up them. I was breathing a bit deeply by the third one, but that settled out okay by the time I found the car.23

This should probably be in "things people say when you lose weight" but it's also an NSV. Anyway, my spouse said last night, "when you were getting out of bed I looked in the bedroom and saw slim legs and height weight proportionate person and for a second I wondered WHO IS IN MY BED!?"
Made me laugh and gave me a thrill. I don't quite count myself as HWP with this belly I've still got but it's cool.18 -
I am wearing a pair of size 8 jeans.
Stretchy and big for an 8 because women's sizing is ridiculous, but an 8.18 -
In December, I had the symptoms of a stroke and was taken to hospital. After a few weeks of tests I was diagnosed with Hemiplegic Migraines (they cause temporary paralysis of your limbs and face). One of the tests they did was cholesterol which was high at 6.7mmol. Anyway they did a follow up blood test and I found out yesterday that my cholesterol is now 5.6mmol!!! 😁 I'm not quite in the healthy band yet (needs to be below 5mmol) but I'm really proud of how much I've managed to reduce it by in just 5 months and will keep going 😊14

That's a neat idea, and you now have a very unique-looking ring! But mine isn't a plain band - I have a bridal set, the engagement ring has a bunch of tiny stones plus a larger central stone and the wedding band has more tiny stones. Right now they're separate rings, I've thought about getting them soldered together, dunno if that would help the fit issue. The metal is already sterling silver, as well, and from what I understand you can't do a lot of reworking on sterling silver. Maybe the Etsy seller would give me a discount on re-buying the same set again, only smaller? LMAO.

Soldering them together should reduce them by half a size. You could probably ask the jeweler if they could add an additional band to the inside after being sodered together to make them even smaller if needed. What an amazing problem to have!2 -

Novel solution! Just a cautionary tale about rings - when I started this journey I didn't think my hands were pudgy at all, and my ring finger was a size 8. Now it's a size 4.5 and closer to a 4. So yeah, definitely best to get near goal weight before resizing rings, if at all possible!4 -
I realized today that the shape of my stomach is changing. It's going flat along the sides and my hips. Meaning I now have a stomach - but my stomach fat is just in front of me. Not a full spare tire all the way around. Wild.12

Yep. I'm also now a size 4 (was a 5). Also my SHOE SIZE has gone down a size. Weirdness.5 -

I was a six when I first married, so we'll see where I'm at when we go ring shopping for real next year. I still fit in my original engagement/wedding band from the first marriage. I'd love my feet to drop in size. I'm a 10 wide and half the time I wear men's sport shoes for the broader last.1
