I have a zip. It's not completely accurate as far as calories burned (I burn calories doing things when standing but not walking), but it's a great motivator! I didn't really care about the stairs or sleep tracking of the more expensive fitbits. I like seeing my progress throughout the day. It makes me move around more to…

Woah! What a change 90 days can make. Great work!

Gilmore Girls. No matter how many times I've seen ALL 7 SEASONS through, I can still start it again and watch for hours.

Unfortunately, you can't spot reduce fat. And genetics are sometimes out to get you. I feel like no matter how much weight I lose and how good I look everywhere else on my body, my arms will always be fat. Sad, but true. I'm doing my best to tone them, though. Try a program that just works on core and abs and do tons of…

This is so hard for me to do in the cold months. I love walking in the spring and summer, but winter really kills my desire to go outside at all. I'll try next month if it gets a little warmer here!

Store-bought fat free ranch is disgusting. I've tried making my own with the Hidden Valley mix. I made it with buttermilk and half mayo / half greek yogurt. I may eventually use just greek yogurt, but little steps. It really reduces the calories and still tastes pretty good.

No children yet either...and no full time job! So I'm enjoying at least 8 hours a night. In college, I averaged 6 hours a night. I feel much better on more sleep and more exercise! :)

Doesn't Jillian also have a buns and thighs video? That might help as far as videos go.

Trying to lose 20 pounds before getting pregnant, but excited to start a family!

CHEESE! Just like when I moved out and started doing my own grocery shopping, I was so surprised how much cheese costs...now I'm shocked that one little slice is 110 calories. If it wasn't for cheese, this weight would come off so fast. But then I'd be miserable because cheese is so great, you know? :P

You have to weigh your meat BEFORE cooking. So, if you see 6 oz. steak on the site, make sure that steak weighed 6 oz. before you cooked it at all.

My face looked thinner, then I kept getting annoyed that my pants were always way too big (but it was awesome!)

I love the Cybex Arc trainer, but those can cost up to $4,000. So I just got a discounted membership to Planet Fitness. $8 a month is way cheaper than trying to pay off a Cybex, but only because I'm picky. If you can find a good one that will eventually pay itself off (versus a gym membership for the time frame the…

Yes. Yes yes yes. steak.

Eating 1200 without eating back exercise calories worked when I had twice as much to lose, but now I can tell that it is hindering my progress as I get closer to my goal. I feel a lot better that I'm eating them back as well. I try to net at least 1200 a day now. As for measurements, I didn't do body fat percentage or…

Ditto to the comment above, I love my paragard. No hormones and lasts for 10 years (though I am removing mine this month... kind of nervous to start having kids!)

5'4" when I was 175, I could squeeze into size 12. Now at 160, size 10 (8 on a good day)

I work protein shakes into my calories as a meal or snack replacement and not as a supplement. This helps you feel full longer. If you supplement protein in addition to your daily calories, your body will build up and repair muscle after exercise in addition to burning fat. As for how much you should eat, I went into my…

I was trying to do a handstand on a bar for gymnastics, but one of my elbows wasn't locked and I collapsed head first onto the bar. Five minutes later, I woke up on a chair and had no idea what happened. I think that's the only time I've ever been knocked out by physical force.

I'm wondering this same thing. I haven't been eating back my exercise calories, but I'm wondering if I should. Looking forward to some responses and advice.

I'm doing BodyRevolution. I love Jillian's workouts. They are doable (still hard...), only 30 minutes, and you feel great when it's over!

I'm in the same position. I've had a deficit almost every day this month, been working out--strength 4x a week, cario 6x a week--and have seen the same two pounds come and go every week. I recently reduced my calorie goal from about 1500 to 1200. I'm hoping I will see results in a few weeks, but it's been a really…

I like what's being said above. Don't take being pregnant as a license to stop eating healthy. Eat clean and remember for the first few months, your body only needs about 300 extra calories a day. I've talked to a lot of people about this and have mostly heard that if you were exercising before you were pregnant, you can…

I'm 5'4". I lost 25 pounds by eating 1,200 calories a day and doing circuit training 4x a week and cardio 1x a week (try Jillian Michaels 30-day shred, ripped in 30, or body revolution). I did not eat my exercise calories back because I had a lot of weight to lose and it came of sooo fast! Now that I'm a little closer to…

Yes, THANK YOU! Fat does not make you fat. Excess calories make you fat.

Just make sure your daily calorie deficit isn't over 1,800 calories (for example, my BMR is about 1,800 calories, I eat 1,500 and burn and additional 500 through exercise; my daily calorie deficit is about 800 calories). When you get closer to your goal weight, your calorie deficit shouldn't be over 1,000 calories. This…
