1lb is small enough to be a fluke - our weight can fluctuate by more than that in a day depending on things like fluid intake and excretions etc. I'd ignore that for now, and aim to get back to your goal when it's possible for you to do so.

I really like this one!

Yep, mine like to run under me when I'm doing push-ups. One of them has also started weighing himself every day. I keep telling him that watching *me* exercise won't help him lose weight, and threaten to start counting the calories in his Fancy Feast!
-
I've finished too! I didn't have much result in terms of lbs lost, but I have lost a few inches, and my fitness has definitely improved, so I'm happy with that.

It's only two hours until midnight here, so I might extend my deadline just a little, but count me in! :)

Go with nutrient-dense foods, such as fruits (my favourite snack at the moment is strawberries!) or a snack plate of carrot/celery/capsicum sticks etc - you can have some dips like hummus with these, just don't go too overboard with it. Plain air-popped popcorn is a reasonable snack too, just don't go crazy with salt.…

I totally agree! When my husband is in town on the weekends, I get him to watch me and tell me what I should be doing differently. Is there anyone who might do that for you?

Finished L3D4 today! I am seeing a difference in several ways: I've lost a bit of weight and a couple of inches, but what I'm noticing most of all is that I feel so amazing - I have more strength and endurance (my husband, who I only see on weekends, couldn't believe how much I'd progressed in a week!), and I also have…

Thanks yarwell - I really appreciate your knowledge and encouragement! I'll aim for more consistency over the next few weeks and see how I go.

Sorry - it was open to friends only but I've fixed it now. I've been eating roughly 1400 cals gross on average, netting about 1200cals. It does tend to vary a bit; I'm working on that. Thanks for replying! :)
-
Me too, to all of this! (And I am also pausing the DVD a few times in L3 too!)

I've just finished L2D10! Can't believe I've made it this far - and I can really see and feel the difference (in terms of how I can do the workouts etc - Sunday is my weigh-and-measure day so we'll see, but I think I'm putting on muscle rather than losing at this point). A bit terrified about L3 tomorrow! se996a, I hope…

Yes, and thank you! I tell people that they need to be that beautiful to get away with being as naughty as they are...!! Loving all the kitty pix! :)

These are my boys - Cairo at the front and Jakarta (Jack) at the back:

se9996a and mamacass, hope you feel better soon! Just finished L2 D8, and it's finally starting to feel a little easier (not easy, by a long shot, but not as bad as it used to be). I'm still going to try to get to L3 on Saturday, but I'm fully expecting to flounder for the first few days!

All these veggies look so yummy! I got my 5 serves today - broccoli, sugar-snap peas, beans, corn, peas, plus carrots and tomato in my home made meatballs, strawberries for dessert. :)
-
I'm interested. :) (In both Ripped in 30 and Run, Zombies!)
-
I've been eating 5 serves of veg fairly consistently. I try to make it the main part of at least one meal (so, veg with a 'side' of meat etc, rather than meat with a side of veg).
-
I reply "only just NOW?" - L2 is still very challenging for me! I hate the V raises too!
-
I've finished L2D5 as well - I think this is the furthest I've made it (attempted the 30DS a few times in the past), and I'm determined to see it through the full 30 days this time! Can't say that I've really lost any weight, but I think I've lost a cm or two off my waist, and my fitness has definitely improved. Having…

Yum! Yesterday I had a whole bunch of celery and carrot sticks, and steamed veggies with dinner. I think I got four or five serves overall.

Hi, I'm Shiny. I'm here not just to lose a bit of weight, but want to make myself healthier overall - and one of the ways I want to do that is to eat more vegetables. One thing I've found helpful is the frozen individual-serve microwave steam bags of mixed vegetables (holy adjectives, Batman!). Each of those is…

I did L1D10 (catch up from yesterday) and L2D1 today - wow, I noticed such a difference! And burned about 100 extra calories in L2 compared to L1 (per my HRM). Glad I've been pushing myself with L1 - there's no way I would have been able to do L2 ten days ago! Looking forward to the challenge though. :)
-
You're doing an amazing job! All those vitamins! :) I managed to meet my goal of five serves yesterday!
-
Just finished L1D9! I'm both excited and nervous about moving up to L2 soon! :)
-
Level 1 Day 7 complete! When is everyone checking in with weight and measurements? Each week, or after each level?
-
Well done mstefanis! I got four serves in today - will aim for better tomorrow!
-
Day 5 done and dusted! :)

Haha that line always annoys me, it's not like they don't know they're being videotaped! It doesn't matter if Jillian's watching or not!
