Wow. Awesome work. My favorite line: "Focused on being Fit and not thin". Powerful words and very encouraging. Thanks!

WOW.....45 pounds in essentially 2 months! How did you do it....please share the secret to your success. I'm plugging away but losing only about 4-5 pounds a month. I'd love to know how you were able to lose ~20 pounds per month! Do tell. You look great by the way...

EXCELLENT ADVICE - - MORE "SHOW" THAN "TELL"

Very impressive. You are so lucky to drop from a Size 22 to Size 12 with just 42 pounds. That's FIVE dress sizes! Wow. It takes me about 20 pounds to move down just one dress size. Also impressed with your ability to run a 6 minute mile! 5 Miles in 30 minutes is fantastic. You've got me beat even in my most fit days. Very…

It's not tricky at all... I count Water as Water. Nothing more, nothing less. I count Coffee as ....coffee. I count Tea as....tea. I count Wine as....lots of fabulous calories. If you're trying to get fit, then get back to basics. Water is Water.

My dietician recommended no more than 120....and it seems to be working.

You ARE my ideal weight....143!

You can't see the loss for the same reason you didn't "See the Gain"..... Like me, I bet that when you were gaining you avoided scales. Then one day you stepped on the scale and you saw a BIG number and couldn't believe it. Where did that number come from? I hadn't "seen" myself gaining....it was just 1 pound after another…

Love your optimism and sunny outlook. You are so right!

The question is back to you - - do YOU feel full and satisfied at 1200? If not, you can eat more. Find the range that works for you. If you are starving and feeling deprived at 1200, you will find it difficult to make the "lifestyle change"...it's NOT a diet.
-
Don't worry about a calibrated scale.....as long as the number on whatever scale you use is going south, you're going in the right direction. Tracking decimals is totally immaterial until you're within striking distance of your last 2 or 3 pounds to goal. Great job ...keep moving.

"Wine - how classy people get shirt-faced" That always makes me laugh. But I still love my wine.

I love wine. Here are 3 suggestions that are working for me: 1. Pick one day a week and make it "NO liquid calories" - - no wine, soda, anything liquid with calories. Lots of water. I don't feel deprived without wine one day. Sometimes I challenge myself to do it two days a week. The other days, I enjoy good wine. 2. I…

First -- Congratualations! You look awesome and you are an inspiration to all of us. Secondly -- Can you tell us what's behind your success -- any special diet followed, how often you exercised, how you got started and kept motivated, etc. You are a true success story so very anxious to learn more about your methods.

What else are you doing now - after the surgery? Have you added exercise? Diet? Curious to find out more....

This is my breakfast almost every day....throw in some spinach, a bit of cheese, oregano, a sun dried tomato or fresh chopped tomato....any vegetable that's handy. What a great start to the day. P.S. Make sure to use the same cup every day and rinse it immediately as the eggs get "cooked on" pretty quickly.

Tap WATER is free -- drink it in abundance! Then go for a 30 minute walk around the block! You CAN eat healthier and get exercise without breaking the bank.
-
This is GREAT....but only losing 12 pounds, you went from 4X to XL? You must have lost all inches.
-
YOU are now MY inspiration and motivation!

Replace your Vitamin Waters with Flavored Sparkling Water - - 0 calories, carbs, and sugars - - and track it as Water. You'll save $$$ as well as carbs. Some of those Vitamin waters have 30+ carbs which is 2 servings. Not sure what you can put in your coffee other than non-fat milk. Have you tried flavored coffees and just…

I'd lose ALL the Vitamin Waters (some of them contain a full serving of Carbs) and replace them with plain Water or Sparkling Water......

Don't get hung up with the scale - it will doom you. Weigh in no more than once a week. Stay focused on nutrition and exercise and not the weigh in. You'll do much better in the long run.

What I don't understand is how you joined in Sept 2010....and lost 100 pounds in 7 months, 2 days? You look amazing and it's an awesome accomplishment - - but I'm wondering what you did in the last 7 months differently than the first 15 months??
