Honestly I'm not sure. I was doing everything the same and one day I looked and i was six pounds down the next few weeks i was 4 more pounds down, I seem to have hit a rut, so I'm working on getting out of it.

You can't be a jerk about it, if you're texting on a weight machine you sure as hell better be using it. I only text when I'm doing cardio, I use my iPad for Netflix and I NEVER talk on the phone. No I should reasonably be 150-165 I'm aiming to in the long run get to 160. I'm 5'7" and I'm 193, hourglassy and big busted so I know i won't be a stick figure but I just want to get healthy. Ive noticed my hips see, slimmer and so does my tummy but why don't I see it numerically?

I eat back most of my calories I always drink a recovery drink after workouts and mainly my diet is fruits veggies, lean meats, eggs and a bunch of water...could I be under eating maybe? Weight 193 Idk what my tdee is I just don't get that stuff...my deficit is like 750 I think I can't remember

Eating about 1700 a day. Definitely not lapsing in calories lol

I do cardio a lot because I like it then often do 15-25 min of strength. I'm eating plenty and its not 100% clean but It's not bad either. I keep my portions down and snack a few times a day. I'm thinking its prolly too soon I have a ton more energy, I feel like I'm slimmer, my jeans feel baggy so that's all good.

So focus on cardio until at my goal weight?

So what I'm wondering is should I focus more on cardio or strength? Or a bit of both?

No but I do have to work around my job, my boyfriend and fit it in somewhere. I'm starting tonight after a shift. I'm starting as soon as my mom was able to add me in her gym plan. I'm not relying on the gym. I also have hiking and biking and it's mostly relying on myself.

I know Im just eating what was reccomended for my height and weight and goals. A trainer at my gym said between 1200-1400 calories would be good for me. Along with cardio and strength!

Thanks Ashley! Yeah definitely cardio is gonna be my main goal! I love cardio especially when I've got my music with me :D Im also wondering about the 1200 calorie diet lol thats what MFP has for me! Im sure Ill adjust Its just gonna be harder! Cant wait to hit the gym tomorrow!
