Thanks for the input. I like the idea of still marking when the shoes are "paid off" in poundage lost. I will hit a running store next week.

Ugh, I'm *that* person who joins the challenge and hasn't run yet at all this month. I've been dealing with some foot pain that is improving, so I plan to try it out tomorrow. New running shoes was going to be a present to myself when I reach my next weight loss goal, but I might just have to do it sooner.

I wanted to run this morning, but an appointment I had this afternoon got bumped up to this morning. Not too sad about that as it is currently POURING. Of course I run in the rain in Seattle, but prefer it to be our usual light misting rain - not this bone-soaking type!

After I lose 2 more pounds there'll be a new digit in the 10s place, and I'll be treating myself to a massage.

I get a little extra motivation by keeping an eye on the local lost pet postings (on FB or wherever). I keep an eye out for missing pets in the area where I run. The thought of possibly being able to report a sighting of someone's lost pet helps me get out there. Not in my budget right this minute, but I feel that new…

Today on my run I realized that my stomach is noticeably less jiggly! So much more comfortable to run!

I'm in! I've never gotten past level 1.

For me, having IBS includes so much bloating that it was difficult for me to see any positive changes in my body when I tried to lose weight. I would bloat up so much that my pants wouldn't fit at the end of the day. I started taking probiotics daily, and I have found that my bloating is probably 80% decreased!! I still…

For me, taking probiotics has helped reduce my IBS-related bloating significantly. Just feeling less bloated has helped me to feel like I can be successful at weight loss.

I like it cooked in veggie broth (rinse it first) with cumin, coriander, and a pinch of cinnamon and black pepper. Then stir in a can of chick peas and some lemon zest.

Do you have access to a fridge and/or microwave?
