First part: I was 219.8 this morning. Now for the second part of keeping it off for several days in a row. Or even better, get the number lower for more wiggle room.8 -
I gifted a dress to my mom on her birthday in April but she didn't like it and I didn't return/exchange that dress. I kept it as a challenge to see if I could get into it. In April it wouldnt go below my shoulders, last week I tried it, it fits!! But kinda tight around my arms. It's my birthday in January and my plan is to get into it and feel comfortable wearing it!!9

Well my mini goal was to start running again. Had knee replacement surgery three years ago and doctor told me not to run until I lost some weight. I am down 44 pounds and he saw me last week and told me I could start running, but only short distances. No marathons or half marathons, but can do a 5k. Start Couch to 5k on Monday. I have run most of my life and have not done so in 4 years. So excited to add another tool to my exercise regimen. My dog will be happy as well since she use to run with me.16

To get to normal weight for my height, which is losing 5 more pounds. Having lost 73 pounds since May 11, this little stretch will be a cakewalk. Then another 12 pounds to reach my goal weight of 165, a weight I have not been at for many decades, perhaps high school. I have to say, though, I have been pleasantly surprised at how easy this has been. MyFitnessPal was a godsend for me. It was recommended by my nurse practitioner, and I cannot thank her enough.

my min-goal is getting back into the habit of logging (I have been mia from MFP since ~ mid March 2021, so ~ 7.5 months out of practice)
No judgements on "good / not so good choices". Just get it in there. ALLLL of it.
After a week or so, start whatever fine-tuning (that didn't re-assert itself unconsciously) will be needed to get me back to a good intake-activity mix for a steady(ish) averaged 1/2 pound per week. I am 63, and know from experience that "overall, maintainable lifestyle change" is the attitude I need to foster and reinforce.
THEN I can pick a measurable goal.17 -
My Disney Vacation in 93 days. I am hoping to lose 30 pounds by then. I had wanted to lose 50 pounds but I didn't start right away. 30 would still be amazing.10

I am 7 lbs away from my weight at college graduation. I'm down 80 lbs since April so I want to get the next 7 lbs by Thanksgiving!17

I want to be able to wear my engagement and wedding rings again. Unfortunately I cant have them resized because they have been repaired ( years ago after my pregnant fat fingers swelled up in the heat and they needed to be cut off (the rings not my fingers).12
