Scotland for me

I'm in the same position, my partner is very thin due to having crohns disease and 6'6 tall. Thankfully our meals tend to be quite clean as it's good for him and I'll make some adjustments for me to lower the calories. He will still eat high calories food i.e. Chocolate etc, but it's not an issue when I'm munching on…

Hi, I started on 1st too. Got a fair bit to lose but small steps. I'm 37 and from Scotland. I'm clean eating and calorie deficit. Feel free to add me.

I agree with this. You are far better finding food that is equivalent to the amount of calories to the shake. It's about changing your habits and choices with food.

I need to lose a similar amount. I started on 1st Sept. I've got two teenagers. Feel free to add me.

I'm a busy working mum of two teenagers. Have over 100lbs to lose. Feel free to add me.

How about buy an item of clothing that's a smaller size and aim to get into it? Or aim to walk or run a specified distance? Find something other than the number of lbs losing to work towards. Good luck.

I am starting today too. Sounds like a great idea to have some friends. I have over 100lbs to lose. Any tips for getting the most out of MFP would be great too!

Hi, I'm in Fife. Have loads to lose! Been on a diet or "healthy eating plan" for two weeks now and have lost 11lbs. I must have really shocked my body from eating loads of rubbish to eating veg and meat! I can only imagine my weight loss will slow down soon. (not too soon I hope!) Feel free to contact me anytime.

Do they tell you what the calories is? A friend is doing sliming world and she said that the recipe wouldn't work unless you tweaked a few things i.e. mainly the cheese. I suppose you just have to tweaked the recipe to fit in with your diet. I definitely enjoyed the programme!
