  • I appreciate the advice and kind words. I have decided to stay where I am at with my current company. They have been pretty good to me over the last 13 years.
  • DarwinChick is a little young, but, yeah. Why not. HA!
  • The new job offer is a move up the ladder. I would have never given it a second thought if it was a lateral move. I basically go from being a District Manager where I am now, to 3rd in command of the new company. Where I am now, the position that I have, the salary is about right. The new position with the new company, the…
  • The gals probably wouldn't let a 45 year old help them out in anyway either. Ha.
  • Oh, how I remember the days of being a 30 something......well, a few of them anyway.
  • I very rarely eat back my exercise calories. My recommended calories is 2200, before any exercise. I generally stay somewhere between 1900 and 2200, no matter what I do for exercise. There have been a few times I have dug into the exercise calories, but not very much. Like someone said above, I think it really does depend…
  • Male - 45 5'8" 270 lbs. Was wearing a 44 at the first of March, am now wearing a 40.
  • My ex wife was about 5'5" and right around 100 lbs on a good day. The gal I am with now is about 5'4", and goes about 140. She works out, does Crossfit, eats healthy, is built like a brick **** house, and could probably kill me with her bare hands if she chose to. They were both their own people, have their own faults as…
  • I was 326 back in early March. Started on MFP end of June and was 302, I think. Weigh in was Sunday, and I tipped at 278.
  • I rotate between a bowl of Honey Bunches of Oats, a bowl of Raisin Bran, and 3 scrambled eggs with 3 slices of bacon. (the eggs and bacon have the least calories of the three) I used to eat toast like it was going out of style, but no longer do. In fact, I used to never eat breakfast, but since starting the weight loss,…

  • Brad Paisley and Miranda Lambert a couple years ago in OKC. Charlie Daniels here in La would be a close 2nd. Saw a show back in the late 80's over in Texas at that place George Jones used to have. It would be top 3, if I could remember it all, but I drank a lot back then, and a lot of things are fuzzy. Haha.
  • Yep.....You can add me......
  • I've got one. Not sure of the name of it, but it seems to work ok. I don't put much stock into the calories it says I have burned, but it keeps track of the steps, distance, and time pretty well. I basically use it when I can get out from behind my desk and go for a walk at work.
  • 45 here, and always looking for new friends. Haven't been on MFP but a couple weeks, and so far it's going well. Add away.
  • That's kind of how I was. Started working out on May 1st, when I weighed in at 326. The first 20 came off fast. I drank a lot of Mt. Dew, and now drink only water and coffee. Started tracking calories and increasing my workouts, and today weighed in at 292. However, I used 306 as my starting weight on here, as that's what…
  • District Manager for a large trucking company out of Omaha, Ne. Living in the Bayou and love it.
  • In the middle of week two of tracking everything. Been on a treadmill since the first of June, but was just introduced to this site a couple weeks ago, and started tracking on here July 1st. Used a different site for the last week of June, but really like this one better. Hope to meet people for motivation, and idle chit…
