  • Early.. and I go to bed early too to avoid late night eating lol!!!
  • Yes, dance and yoga has been a huge part of my life. So it's been a big thing trying to blow off any steam without that in my life. Everything changes though.. even your girlie zone!
  • They have to give you a new belly button because they cut the skin around the old one and let all the skin drop and then recreate the belly button around the umbilicus. Make sense?
  • I'm a stay at home mom, so I didn't take any time off, but my family was pretty much in charge of everything for like 6-8 weeks. Again, I had 2 surgeries and I'm sure a big part of me didn't try as hard to bounce back because I knew there was another wave of down time coming up. Right now, I'm killing it though.. I'm…
  • Hi.. I'm 8 months post op from my tummy tuck and skin contour due to my 130 lb weight loss. My case was a little different because one month out from my tt, I got the top half done and breast augmentation as well. The only thing I would do differently, is wait on my second surgery. I'm very happy with my results, and all…
  • That feeling you get when you do something fulfilling? It must have something to do with that.
  • Sushi and froyo tonight!!!
  • I have bipolar disorder and struggled through many weight loss methods in order to lose weight. I have a really wide range of unpopular methods due to my struggles. I lost 130 lbs, in very unconventional ways.. not necessarily unhealthy.. I just don't play by all the rules. My workouts are pretty much everywhere anytime..…
  • In excess, they are very bad, and I think it's really silly to argue that. Everyone here knows the problems we all have with too much sugar and salt in all of f our diets. You can nitpick about me calling them toxins if you like, but you all get my point.
  • Generally, sugars, alcohols, salt, any other weird things they put in our food that our bodies have a difficult time processing and we hold onto longer than we should.. just look at the back of any packaged food item. Theoretically, that's a huge reason Americans and Europeans have so many problems metabolizing.
  • My son has a chromosomal disorder called Prader Willi Syndrome. People who have this syndrome never feel full when they eat and spend their entire lives obsessed with food. Basically starving. When I had my son I was 275 and 5'3. My idea of fun was movies and snacks which was pretty much an every day thing. When I learned…
  • You need to drink plenty of water when you work out or go in a sauna.. so no, I'm not promoting dehydration, nor am I saying to do this instead of healthy eating. I'm saying it's ALL good
  • https://www.fitnessmagazine.com/health/sweat-health-benefits/?page=1 Ok I googled
  • Absolutely!!! Getting rid of any excess water in your system cleans your system. It's kind of hard to imagine because working out in the beginning makes you feel tired, or when it's really hot, it can make you feel really tired. But it's not an immediate response. The reason many people use a sauna is to sweat out toxins.…
  • I never lost any real weight unless I ate breakfast every day. Only water and solid waste. Just my experience in my 130 lb loss
  • Moving is better than not moving.. (patent pending)
  • Fat may not sweat out, but water and toxins do. That can leave a person feeling much more energetic and that can lead to more activity which leads to...,. Yes.. weight loss!! Sometimes we need to stop and look at the BIGGER picture. The idea is to feel better in order to do more with our lives.. not just get skinny. I…
  • Atkins bars are amazing! But they have some unnatural stuff in them (sugar alcohols, high fat etc.) but I have used them for years in a pinch and they are unreal how good they are. Eggs are perfect.. Almonds are great Avocado Fruit Hummus Sliced meat and low cal cream cheese Cottage cheese Yogurt Snacking is very highly…
  • Edema!!! Some of us struggle with this harder than others... In my case, I eat really well for 4 or 5 days, go out to eat, and then I'm 5 lbs up.. I can put on 10 lbs in 2 or 3 days.. good news is, with good control, I can flush it out in the same time. It used to make me so crazy that It consumed me. But now I understand…
  • I'm with you on that! I'm looking great on top since my skin surgery but my thighs are still looking like a melted candle. The surgery was so tough that I decided I am just going to live with my thighs the way they are.. so hopefully swimsuits with skirts will stay in style for a long time
  • Plastic surgeons swear by them.. they call them compression garments. It doesn't help with weight loss. Only aesthetic shape. Same with plastic surgery. The reason I know this is that I lost 130 lbs and had a lot of skin I had to get removed. So I got an abdominoplasty. The doc had me use a compression garment for months…
  • What is that?
