If you dont mind me asking. .where did you hear that? And how long per workout?

I disagree. I can't eat whatever I want to. Im hypothyroid snd im on an organic clean eating plan. So yes..I have to have a treat day..cheat food..or day off, whatever you want to call it so I dont feel deprived.

Thank you! I really needed that tonight. I do feel guilty but I think its the previous eating disorder issues. I agree..I cant see how one day will mess up the entire week. Thanks for the inspiration.

Not to sound rude but after reading some of these..I actually feel worse! If this makes sense. .I almost feel like I am being punished for eating food I dont eat everyday.:(

First I would like to thank all of you for your advice! It is alot of information to take in and I like parts of everyone's posts honestly. However. .I do know myself and how hard I work all week. I work out 5 days a week for an hour a day. I mix it up witj cardio and weights. .also HIIT. As for my diet..I eat organic 1300…

Hi. I can relate to the eating disorder. Last January I was about 25 pounds lighter due to resticted eating. I liked how I looked but everyone wss saying I looked sick. Well..about 6 months later my body started gained some of the weight back and I hadnt changed s thing! I was frustrated and depressed. I found oout I…

Thank you! I am not typically a very patient person..but I am quickly learning that with this disease I don't have much of a choice. I will continue to kick butt in the gym and hopefully. ? Eventually...it will pay off!

Thank you! Actually that is pretty much what t will be doing now for my workout schedule. I was doing both cardio and weights in one session and apparently that can be too much. So good luck to both of us :)

I too had the same question on exercises. I have been told by the Dr.s to do both but to keep each workout session to only 30 mins. I just started on Thyrostim a week ago and I too am still tied with low mood. I think its a matter of getting the right meds in combination with exercise.

Wow! Congrats to you on your weight loss! I agree I think that getting on the right meds in combination with the eating and working out would be much more efficient. I think im going to try what the Dr. Said about shorter sessions first..but do them at a higher pace and see what happens. Thank you!

Thank you for your advice. ?.I appreciate it. As for my meals I do eat 6 small meals/snacks each day. You said you do 45 mins. Of cardio is that twice a week on the days you dont do weights? The other 3 days 45 mins weights?

Hi! Wow your story sounds very similar to mine! This really hit home for me. We need to stay focused and never give up the fight.

Great job! You look great! Better yet..you probably feel better too! I want to lose about 10 pounds but haven't had any luck with this thyroid condition. My Dr. Told me to do less cardio because it was stressful in the thyroid. Have you heard of this? WTG!!!
-
Thank you! It is good to know im not alone in dealing with this constant battle! Good luc k to you both on your weight loss journey and I look forward to sharing stories of both struggle and definitely PROGRESS!

Hi! I do exercise 5 days for an hour. This consists of 30 minutes of weight training and 30 minutes of cardio. My question is..can the cardio be too much on the thyroid and cortisol? My Dr.told me to cut back to 30 mins. No more than 4 ir 5 days a week. And weights were good but cardio was too stressful. I dont know. So…

Thank you for sharing. I have alot of similar issues that you listed as well I guess I just forgot to list all the of them. I do have a therapist I have been working with and without just recently came out of a partial hospitalization program for my depression and BDD. Since I've been out I have been struggling again.…
