  • Hi, I am always looking for more (supportive) friends as well. I try to log daily (but miss once in a while so my counter is low), and my food diary is open. Feel free to add me! Katie
  • I bought this one recently: http://m.kohls.com/kohlsopenapi/productmobile.html?productID=147215 Doesn't look like much but it's great and has lots of good reviews so I'm not the only one! :) great for every day, including at work. I also have a nice Nike one for running/jogging. I used to double-bra before because I had…
  • I have a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix with about 185,000 miles. I HOPE it lasts me to 265K! Even 230K I would be happy! Big Red has to last me til I can afford a new one!! We bought it from my uncle-in-law who took good care of it so hopefully it will have a long life. I just keep having to replace the freaking wheel bearings…
  • I log it as circuit training. I used to log every exercise but a lot of them aren't listed. I usually call it around 175cals, but if I really pushed myself that day I'll call it 200. Good luck!
  • SO I did Level 3 today and I DID like it better! I didn't know if I'd ever get to level 3. Thanks for your encouragement! You're right about those rockstar jumps though! Sheesh!
  • Well that is definitely good to hear! Maybe I'll just have to move up to level 3 sooner then!
  • I forgot to add that we do like to swim, hike, and just walk the dog together, especially when the weather is nice. In the summer we play on a non-competitive volleyball league together. I am pretty terrible, but it's really fun anyway. Earlier this week we went bowling (if you don't think that's a workout, tell my left…
  • I have a hard time with this too. He has seen me do parts of my 30DS DVD, and he has seen me after when I am sweaty, which prompted him to tell me that she is serious about these workouts and they're hard. I appreciated that he wasn't making fun of my lame DVD workout, and it motivated me to keep up with it. He is in WAY…
  • I am stalled mid-level 2. I have done it about 4-5 times now, but afterwards my anterior hips and my knees have been sore, and not in the good, muscle-sore kind of way. My joints are sore. My husband thinks I must be doing one of the exercises wrong. I do all the "beginner" versions of the exercises except the walk-out…
  • Wow! I can really tell a difference in the definition in your arms and stomach! Thank you for the motivation!
  • I have done level 2 twice now (well twice in this most recent time that I've been working out, so, since roughly mid-december. I have been using the 30DS DVD on and off since my wedding 2 years ago and only a few times have I progressed to level 2). It is SIGNFICANTLY harder than level 1. I could do level 1 fairly easily…
  • I live in Wauwatosa! Feel free to add me! I'm getting excited for Brewer season!!!:drinker:
  • Great job! The scale is not the only thing to go by. Especially if you are strength training/building muscle, and just starting, you will notice tightening and becoming more fit before you lose pounds on the scale. Great job, and keep up the good work!
  • My scale is fairly old as well, but it functions. Does anyone know how to calibrate an old scale? If so, I would appreciate it. Thanks!
  • You can add me if you like. My diary is open and I am looking for more friends.
  • I go way over on my sugar too! Usually it is at least double as much as MFP recommends! I am not that overweight right now, but I am worried that I will develop diabetes as members of my family have it and I'm worried that I'll get it over time if I keep eating this much sugar. The thing is, my dad drilled into my head…
  • WolfChild - I agree with you but for some different reasons. When I started, I was told 1500 calories a day, but every day I was eating around or less than 1500 calories a day anyway. I didn't get the point of tracking my calories since I was already eating that many. The quality of what I was eating was poor, though, but…
  • Thank you ladies! This is so helpful! Even though it felt good when it told me I was burning 300 Kcals, it's more important to me to be accurate!
  • Don't give up! You are still making progress! It doesn't happen overnight! Give it time and you will get there! The fact that you are trying means you're past the hardest part. Plus, don't just look at the weight, look at your health! If you stick with it I promise you will start making *healthier* eating choices, and…
  • Wow!! Great job girl! I noticed I lost inches before pounds too, probably because of muscle building. I noticed it most in my thighs and butt, probably thanks to all those squats!!
  • Hi everyone- I know it's after the first but I have been doing the 30day shred for about 2 weeks now (still on level I), whenever I have time. So far that has evened out to about two times per week. My schedule just changed, and I'm having a harder time working in exercise. I just joined the site because I feel like I need…
