  • Only when I do a proper full clean of the whole house about once a fortnight. All the other stuff is just constant maintenance living with three guys haha.
  • I tend to buy sort of staple vegetables like peppers and onions etc that I can toss into absolutely anything. And I've never eaten so much chicken in my life. There's so much you can do with it that you can have a different meal every night with different ingredients. I've also learned to cook with a heap less ingredients…
  • I have a multivitamin and some iron supplements I have to take but I've never really thought of adding them since I've been on them for so long and it's not likely to change. I'd probably forget to most of the time anyway, ha.
  • I have a similar problem. As well as being caused by not drinking enough/changes in schedule etc it can also be caused by the hormones Grehlin and Leptin (the "hunger" and "full") hormones and their patterns can get a little messed up if you're overweight or in a habit of really overeating. Unfortunately the only real way…
  • I could do with some more friends on here too :) I'm recently back on here tracking again and most of my old friends appear to have quit.
  • At the moment I weigh in every day for monitoring purposes for a health thing but ordinarily I'm useless at remembering. I prefer taking measurements every 2 weeks or so to see the physical changes otherwise I get all scale obsessed and end up sabotaging myself. Once a week is probably ideal though.
  • I started eating dinner much later than usual so I stayed full later into the evenings. I found that I still got cravings but they're purely down to habit now as opposed to actual hunger and they're much easier to resist that way.
  • I'm 5'2" and always found that sticking to 1200 only ever works for me if I'm being really strict about what I'm actually eating (as opposed to just literally eating whatever as long as it comes under my goals). I'm only recently back on here but while I was away I was aiming for a minimum of 1500 a day on big exercise…
  • I'm from the North West :) Just back after a few months break, feel free to add me! Most of my old friends on here have quit in the time I was away.
  • After tracking for a little while I have a fairly good grasp of what's actually in what I'm eating, so I just try and aim for the healthier buffet options and let myself off with the 'hidden' calories for the day. One buffet meal will not ruin all of my progress by any stretch, so I try not to stress about it.
  • If you've never been active before you'll just be unfit. It does get better in time!
  • I haven't lost all that much yet but the inches have melted off since I started strength workouts. I have this one friend who knows I've been trying to get healthy and she makes this really snarky comments that should be compliments, but you can tell by the way she says it that it's just sarcasm. Her comments don't bother…
  • It's far too early in the morning here for all this confusion
  • I'm really not sure whether to laugh or cry. Or puke. Why is it so slimy?
  • I've never really been the sort of person who looks in the mirror and only sees my flaws, I've always been able to appreciate what I have and I think I'm fairly lucky in that sense. But although the scales and my measuring tape have been showing the difference, when I look I still don't see it. Someone took a picture of me…
  • I seem to cry at everything, it's ridiculous. Most recently an episode of One Tree Hill had me sobbing uncontrollably for like an hour  It doesn't seem to take much to set me off though. One of my ex boyfriends used to cry whenever we argued. I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to do when blokes cry though so…
  • I don't have a specific date for my final goal, but I did want to be back under 200lbs by my 20th birthday, which is in 2 weeks. I made it! I'm going to try work out a few other mini-goals to keep me focused. It seems much easier to say I want to lose 10lbs over a shorter time frame than "I want to lose 40lbs…
  • I'm guilty of often netting very low, but I'm fairly new to this and I'm working on it. I eat vegetarian most of the time since I live with my mum, and after finally cutting the take outs and the useless junk I used to eat, I was eating next to nothing of any worth. I've been focusing more on making better choices and…
  • Try and remember that whatever you're feeling now that is making you want to binge won't be any different after you've eaten. In fact, it'll still be there, plus all the feelings you'll have from binging. Instead, try go for a walk or do a full on work out, that usually puts me off. Good luck!
  • I'm taking a rest day today. I had my first kick boxing lesson last night and doing both in the same day was a terrible mistake  I can't seem to raise my arms without them shaking uncontrollably, let alone do those walking push ups. Jillian Michaels has NOTHING on my kickboxing instructor though, he is quite…
  • I'd see a doctor too, I felt really sluggish for a while and it turns out I was lacking B12 and Iron. For the most part it's not difficult to sort. Either way, they should be able to tell you if you're lacking something or other.
  • I love zumba too! You do sweat like crazy but I think it's fun and it doesn't really feel like a work out.
  • I eat mostly vegetarian with my mum so I've been struggling to keep up with my calories anyway. I find if I want a treat I can usually fit it in easily enough without having rest days.
  • Did level 2 of the 30 day shred this morning, and got dragged to a kickboxing class this evening. Not entirely sure whether I regret doing both, but my shoulders are not thanking me.
  • Has he told you why he's actually doing it? That's the first step to stopping it. It could be a number of things other than him just being hungry, by the sounds of it he shouldn't be. It was something I used to do quite a lot and very often I was bored in the middle of the night and the food was just there. It as often…
  • I try not to pay too much mind to BMI. When I was 16 I started trying to eat properly and I was already fairly active, and was aiming to me in the mid range of a healthy BMI like my doctor recommended. I made it, with a lot of hard work, and I looked awful. I looked ill, more than anything, and that was massively…
  • I hold more value in how many inches I lose as opposed to how much I've lost from the scale. If you don't want to be lifting heavy just do body weight exercises to tone up instead, but as it's been said gaining muscle mass is super beneficial in the long run :)
  • I just realized I forgot to check in here as well as on my profile  Starting weight: 204lbs Current weight:198.8 lbs (HURRAH) Bust: 46 in(-3) Waist: 33.2in (-7.8) Waist at belly button: 40.8in (-5.2) Hips: 40.6in (-6.4) Thighs: 22.1in (total of -5.8 between both) Arms: 13.3in (total of 3.4 between both) Success, I…
  • I did it this morning and really struggled. The walking push ups did me in today for some reason and from then on I was exhausted  I have kick boxing tonight though so I'm not too fussed that I didn't do as well as I hoped this morning.
