  • My bestfriend is a personal trainer and he's always telling me 'it doesn't matter WHEN you exercise, it matters THAT you exercise".
  • Here's how I look at things. I'm not wanting to lose weight for anyone except myself. So as far as dating, if I have to stress and worry about if I might be too "fat" for someone then that person isn't for me. You know? I'd rather be with someone who accepts me at this weight or any other weight. I actually feel like I'd…
  • To touch on the veggies again. Try getting the bags of frozen. I always get those when my budget is tight. It doesn't go bad nearly as fast so I'm not wasting money if I don't eat them right away. Also, they might not be as fantastic as fresh but nowhere near as bad as canned. They're super easy to steam as well.
  • I think what people who debate "starvation mode" miss that it's not saying "you're going to put yourself in starvation mode and not lose any weight!". It's saying because you are under the calories you need for the day, you are most likely starving your body of nutrients it needs. It seems the whole debate is whether…
  • That's what happened to me my first time too. I was down for about a week. Could barely stand up or sit down because my thighs were in so much pain. The next time I tried I didn't push myself as hard. I still worked up a really good sweat and breathin hard. The next day the only thing that was sore was my calves and it was…
  • Nope. It's totally random lol. I always have stuff that nobody, including medical professionals, can figure out. It's so old lol.
  • It happens when I'm just sitting here working and I take a few drinks. I live in Las Vegas and the weather has been pretty decently lately. Definitely getting enough cals and also eating lots of different things during the day. Also taking a vitamin each morning. (Womens 1 A Day Active Metabolism)
  • Yeah, it's way more water than I used to be drinking. It also seems to only happen when I drink a quantity of water. Not randomly through the day or anything. Ugh I don't know.
  • Wonderful! Congratulations!
  • I also only use spark for the rescipe calculator. I didn't even know the site was similar to the idea of this one until I noticed other people talking about it lol. I've never signed up for spark. I just saved the page with the calculator in my favorites.
  • No. It was actually the first time I worked out in months and months. I probably pushed myself too hard during. I'm almost always under on my calorie intake (1200). I just don't want to go over and I eat enough during the day to not be hungry, I just choose foods with less calories. I don't want to eat junk just to meet…
  • How? How are you doing this? lol I did it Wednesday night and was seriously sore yesterday. Today, it's even worse. How are you able to do it every day? Did I do somethng wrong? Or am I just THAT fat lol
  • Thanks! I'm really feeling it today. Walking my daughter up the block to school was not fun. My knees... hurt :noway: Ugh!
  • I did it for the first time tonight and it she kicked my butt! Was a huge wakeup call as to how out of shape I am. But, now I'm excited to work to get to where it's not too bad and move up the levels.
  • I've come to the conclusion that ellipticals are not as fantastic as everyone says and they are not for everyone lol. I have major issues with them too. But, it's my knees. 2 minutes and I am in severe burning pain in my knees. My knee joints are messed up and have been since I was a toddler. So the motion that the…
  • If you haven't already, include sodium in your "nutrients tracked" settings. It should give you a number so you have some sort of idea. I have mine set with the standard Cal, Carb, Fat, Protein, and added Sodium and Sugar.

  • I agree, it's easy to just roll your eyes at the saboteur, but the food police just dig in under your skin.
  • Which episode was that? I'd like to watch it :)
  • My post was not in reply to your's or anything having to do with coffee. I was following the original point of this thread.
  • It sounds like you just don't want to drink the water and would rather make excuses that it doesn't matter. I also can't believe you are really basing everything off of this one article you read. Really? Do you have any idea how much BS is all over the internet? Come on now.
  • I crave salt, pizza, and chocolate lol. I have a serving of the Quakes cheddar cheese rice cakes for my salt cravings (plus lots of water). For pizza I either try my best to ignore it, or I have one of the Lean Cuisine pizzas. Chocolate is tough. I usually will either have a Hostess 100 cal packs of the little chocolate…
  • How long have you been on your "weight loss journey"? How far under your calorie goal are you usually? If you're really low under it's probably the cause.
  • Granny Smith Apples Baby Spinach NonFat Yogurt Avocado Alfalfa Sprouts(on sandwiches)

  • If you are used to larger portions then your body is probably getting used to smaller meals. Your stomach needs time to shrink back down to where it's supposed to be.
