  • Thanks ladies. I think of the times that I've had slip ups and all that and thought "wow, imagine if I actually stuck to things even better".. one part of me thinks that, the other wonders if maybe having a small occasional treat is actually whats helping me stick to this better that if I went cold turkey.. who knows..…
  • I haven't heard that, but I was told by my trainer at the gym to have a glass of warm water with a lemon squeezed into it within half an hour of getting up in th emorning to jump start my metabolism, and then the same with each meal.. I found it actually has seemed to work.
  • Completely guilty of weekend issues too - it is all so busy and you just go from one thing to the next and all of a sudden you've just grabbed random things to eat on the way.
  • Well done! fitting into nice jeans always makes you feel good!!!
  • How are you finding it? I was thinking of starting it on the days that I can't get to the gym. I looked at it on you tube last night and alot of it is very similar to the x-55 class I got to on wednesdays. Off to the gym today for full body workout with weights and cardio. Have also joined a business house swim relay..…
  • Ok, I'm gona do it. Post pics. First lot of pics was 2 years ago, 2010. (please excuse the silly ford temporary tattoo - hubby thought it would be funny) May have more pics from currently to add, but don't know if there's really much difference. Hoping to look a heck of alot better in this bikini by the time I'm done here.
  • Back in to the gym today - X-55 class (radical fitness) Works on legs mainly but also arms, bottom and belly too. Love it.
  • Luckily, my kids have fallen in love with subway - so our "takeaways" night is pretty ok.
  • Definately! There's a sign on the wall at my gym that says something along the lines of: "Thinking to yourself - "Oh, I've already tripped up with my food today anyway so I may as well just eat junk" is like dropping your phone and saying "well now I'll just smash it till it breaks". So yeah, just pick up and keep going I…
  • I definately feel this way too. I love to shop and love nice clothes - but am not getting anything else yet. I have so many sizes in my wardrobe already, I just want to fit back in some of the nice things I already have - I miss them. I have also vowed that I will not take my youngest daughter with me shopping - she has…
  • Ditto. me too - The logging part that is. Will start off this month by saying a loss of anything around 5lbs I will be happy with in first couple of weeks. Any more will be a happy surprise.
  • Good luck for your weigh in then!! I have to wait another 4 weeks for reassessment through my gym, I don't keep a set of scales in my house so hopefully will be happily surprised when I go back. Feeling good that I have been to the gym 3 times this week.. hoping to keep that up. Have a good trainer to touch base with who…
  • Hi all, would love to join in here too. Really trying to change my eating habits, I know that I'm a terrible snacker, especially if I'm bored or tired so trying to combat those things too so that the cycle is stopped. Have been back and forth alot in last 10 yrs. Was a gymnast in high school so always sat at about 121,…
  • Sure thing.
  • Hiya - another kiwi chick here..
  • Haven't been successful with upload.. just put pic as my profile pic instead.....
  • I think it's definately a matter of finding something you are completely happy with and will be happy with when you look in the mirror a decade from now.. It took 5 years for me to completely find the right one that I wanted for me, to depict my 2 children and our one that passed...it was more a form of healing for me I…
  • Hi there Siobhan - I have had the same thing happen. I first joint here a while ao and didn't keep up with it at all, however did have my measurements at the time stored on here. I have since returned - and have started running about 4 times a week, with some swimming, biking, zumba or elliptical training thrown in on…
  • Hey all, Am new here but wanna join in too. I am hoping that I can lose 5 pounds in a month, actually more would be nice, hoping for around 11 if possible, but know that might be a bit much to hope for just yet. I have a work conference coming up at the end of October and want to have some new, nicely fitting clothes for…
