  • I graduated Ripped in 30 last Saturday. The program is AWESOME! Unfortunately I didn't take any before/after photos or measurements. :-( But I did go from a size 6 to a size 2 in pants! That's all the measurements I need! Haha. This was actually my first Jillian workout, and I've gotta say, I'm addicted and now a member of…

  • Hahaha. I especially loved #9: When you meet someone who loves lifting just as much as you do: Did we just become best friends?! Yep! (Love Step Brothers!) Oh and #50 with the turtle is one of the most hilarious things ever! Trying to walk after leg day…..hahahahahaha! Thanks for sharing!!!
  • I thought they were basically the same programs, except Ripped in 30 works even more muscles by adding an extra circuit?
  • Ugh... Yesss! Just a couple of days ago actually. My friend was making excuses for slacking on her workout routine, and told me I'm skinny so it's different (harder) for her. SAY WHAT???? Excuse me, but I'm the one getting up very early every morning working out as well as dieting, but that's discounted because I'm…
  • That's interesting, cause of friend mine just posted this a few minutes ago: http://health.yahoo.net/articles/aging/photos/8-diet-and-exercise-mistakes-age-you#0 It's titled 8 Diet and Exercise Mistakes That Age You, and it specifically says you need to do yoga and strength training, NOT just cardio. I know I know I…
  • When I first started exercising, it was due to going way over board with eating when pregnant with my first child. I never exercised before that. I was loaned a DVD from my best friend called Denise Austin Boot Camp. There are two choices on the DVD, both cardio and strength. I couldn't even get 3 minutes into it at first,…
  • Wow! 3 rounds of Insanity?! That is INSANE! ;-p GOOD JOB! I don't see how JMBR could possibly be any challenge to you though, you've already taken on the hardest program out there....thrice! Is the new Asylum in your near future? Actually, come to think of it, Insanity doesn't use weights or anything, huh? So yes, JM…
  • Ditto! Sundays are my rest days....
  • Have you tried orange flavored vodka with club soda? Although, I prefer raspberry flavored. Much less calories than orange juice.
  • Me too! Take away all the bread and pasta, FINE. But you touch my wine, and we're gonna FIGHT! ;-P Seriously though, whenever I do my occasional 2 weeks of Phase 1 diet for South Beach, I do the complete rules and even nix the alcohol. But other than that, I have me TWO glasses of wine every evening before bed. Dessert?…
  • This! I LOVE this!!! Hahaha. Quit being such a whiney wimp.... ;-p There's a blunt card out there that reads " Yes, I know it burns, but complaining about it won't make you look good naked!"
  • Just show up. Just press play. I tell myself these words over and over every morning at 5am when I'm getting up to do my Ripped in 30 workout. And it WORKS. All I've gotta do is show up and press play, and the rest just comes naturally. :-)
  • Hahaha!
  • My mom was just telling me about all the rockin' benefits to eating kale and sent me this. I ordered a NutriBullet a couple of days ago, and I know there are a bunch of smoothie recipes using kale in it. My Dad apparently LOVES the recipe listed at the bottom! 5 Reasons Why Kale Is The Ultimate Look-Gorgeous, Feel-Amazing…
  • If you lost 15 pounds to start out with.....perhaps you've just hit a plateau? Change up your exercise routines...."confuse the muscles"! Also, make sure you're eating nutritional foods, not just LESS of the BAD. :-) REMEMBER: 80% IS NUTRITION AND 20% IS EXERCISE
