You look great! And you can definitely see the difference! Awesome!

You have to get up and move! That's all there is to it. Go for a walk in the evenings. Make it a point to go for a walk. This is about you and you need to do this for yourself. No excuses. Put down the video game controller and walk. Also, if you're watching TV, during the commercials, get up and walk around. The more you…

I love the Almond Breeze original unsweetened. It's delicious. I bought Silk and didn't like it as much as the Almond Breeze.

I'm doing the one in Ohio in June. So excited, I can't wait!!!!

I use to do the Quick Cooking, but switched to the Old Fashion. Only difference I've found is the Old Fashion is thicker. I cook mine in the microwave. Before I cook it, I take frozen (or fresh) strawberries and microwave them in the water, mash it up then cook the oatmeal in the strawberry water with a little more water,…

This is so a topic for me. I'm 5'7" and 166 lbs. I'd like to get down to 150 to 145...that's a good range for me. I have curves and I love them so I don't want to lose them. Christmas was awesome. I indulged, but I don't feel I over indulged. But I'm back on the wagon. Worked out today...567 calories burned doing Core Syn…

I eat oatmeal almost every day (not the instant kind, but actual rolled oats) and a low fat cheese stick for protein. Fills me up and keeps me going.

I'm not sure how the "wrist watch only" models work. I have on with a chest strap and it is awesome! I love it. The chest strap sends the heart rate signal to my wrist watch and I don't have to do anything.

Our bodies and muscles get use to things we do every day. Ever notice when you do a new exercise, the next day muscles you didn't know you had hurt. That's because your working new muscle groups. The best thing to do is switch up the exercises...cause "muscle confusion". If you walk all the time, try biking. Same with the…

Strength training is extremely important. First, muscle burns more than fat, so if you build some muscle, you'll be burning more fat and calories. Plus strength training helps with your bone density. Strong bones are very important. You should do strength 2 to 3 times a week. And you don't need to use heavy weights. For…

I have to say curvy is better. I've always had a weight complex, but you know what, I'm a 10/12 and to quote my good friend, I'm "built like a Coke bottle". I have the perfect hourglass shape and I love it. My goal is just to drop a little weight and to tone it up some. I don't want to lose the curves, cause then I…

I'm on the Lean program of P90X and this is only week 2, but the chaturanga move got me. But this week, I was able to do it. It felt great. Oh and thanks to Tony and P90X, I was down 3 lbs! I'm definitely hooked on the X!!!

I do Zumba in addition to my P90X workout, so I have 2 days where I get in a double workout. I see nothing wrong with burning some extra calories. I just make sure to eat enough calories to compensate so my body doesn't freak out on me.

Awesome post! And people need to hear what you said..."There is no magic pill for weight loss, happiness or anything really. Everything good comes as the result of hard work and dedication." Hard work and dedication...that is the key. People need to stop looking for that quick fix and realize it can only be done if you are…

I'm on board. I'll allow Subway because it's so good and I don't do cheese or mayo, but that will be the only one allowed. I use to never eat fast food, and I eat it very rarely, but need to get back to none at all. I'll be here in my moments of weakness for your help and to help you.

I am a non-mom and am happy to be part of this group. I weighed in today, and gained...which I fully expected. But today is my fresh start. Started P90X and going to watch what I eat very carefully. The goal is a healthy, happy lifestyle. Here's to all you, Non-Moms...we can do this!

You need to eat at your calorie goal, or else your body will think you're starving it and your metabolism will slow down. And don't be so hard on yourself. We all have our battles to deal with. Take it one day at a time. And when you are feeling up to doing stuff, don't push yourself too hard. Because if you do, your fibro…
