I usually get between 20-30 grams a day. I think 39 on a daily basis would be tough (although probably doable). :)

Thats a good idea. I never thought of weighing it. lol Now I just need to get batteries for my scale- it ran out :( (luckily the vast majority of what I eat is either already portioned out or I know how to measure it). Thanks again!

Very cool! I gave in and ordered a heart monitor before you posted about them yesterday. I might return it when it arrives and go for one of those instead! I like that it counts your steps and sleep too. For counting steps, I have a very basic fitbit (tracks steps and calories not sleep) but I washed it and it doesnt work…

Thank you so much for the kind words!!! And wow....I didn't even know those existed! lol How exactly do they work? My arms are quite large so I am really not sure if anything that goes on them will work efficiently but I am definitely interested in finding out more! Thanks again!

Thanks for the reply! I am losing, but not as fast as I had thought I would. I've never worked so hard at counting calories and exercising as I am now, so I thought more would come off (in the past it would come off when I restricted calories without exercise). This week I only lost 1.6 lbs and last week was around 2. MFP…

Lol Now I got it!! To specify, I am 29-years-old (will be 30 in January), 5'7" and weigh 468.4. I don't know how I let my weight get this high (I have always been heavy, but my weight recently is just really ridiculous) and I just want to really optimize my chances of losing weight. I find that I put it on very easily, but…

What are OP stats? (Sorry- I'm still new to all this lol)

Thanks so much for the responses. I am currently 468.4 lbs and have lost 34.6 lbs so far. When I do 30 mins on the exercise bike, I typically ride at around 4 miles per hour and do a total of about 2 miles. The resistance gets pretty intense for me at the level 7 mark. 5 is not easy but not super intense and 6 is somewhere…

Well...They're still miserable b*itches. Personally, I would rather be fat than a miserable b*itch.. Us chunky people...well, we can lose weight...but miserable b*itches...they will be miserable b*itches forever. You are awesome! They aren't! Congrats on hitting 4 miles!

I have been overweight since I was little. I developed binge eating disorder around maybe 4 years old (until then I was skinny). I have no idea what made me have these issues but around 4, I started stealing food and binging on it in secret. I have very vivid recollections of it. This was a huge issue for me all through…

Hi! I am not sure if there is anyway you could lose 10 lbs in two weeks as you really do not have much to lose. I think your best option may be to try a detox cleanse...I recommend Dr. Oz's 3 day detox- http://www.doctoroz.com/videos/dr-ozs-3-day-detox-cleanse-one-sheet Basically you make three huge smoothies a day using…

Fitbits are great to let you know how much you are moving, or not moving as the case may be. That way you can set a goal for yourself and try to fit in the extra steps to meet it. Every step counts! :)

Hi! I currently am very heavy- 479 lbs, but I was even heavier in August. I am down about 24 lbs so far. It's a struggle, but I know we can all do this! :)

LOL Don't! My classes are online, so while they are emotionally exhausting they aren't physically hard at all. But they are much more convenient with my boys. I can get work done when they are otherwise occupied and be here when they need me. :)

I feel your pain! I am actually not working that much right now as I am back in college full time and taking care of my two kids. I am only working one day a week, but after work, my energy is just gone! I have found that riding a stationary exercise bike works well for me. I do the weight loss setting on it which does…

Thank you so so much everyone! I know it will take time and effort to get to a healthy weight, but I really think I can do it this time! I was actually excited to exercise tonight! That is definitely another first for me! Woops! Thanks for catching that! Wishful thinking I guess. :) lol
