For me, it was being told by a skinny friend that she thought I and my larger friend were the about the same size, enough was enough, and I knew I had to drop the blubber. So I made an effort to lose weight, and it kinda worked, and now obese friend thinks of me as larger friend haha, yay. (I'm trying to help larger friend…

I'm an oldish vegan, well, four and a half years, my diary is open, and pretty healthy IMO, except for the tinned fruit, if you're wanting ideas, happy to accept and motivate new friends :)

I'm a fairly healthy vegan, except for salt, you can check out my diary, and others diaries for meal inspirations, it's definitely a great way to live :)

I'm nineteen now, and the lightest I've been since I was 12, at 156 or something. I was always a tubby kid, because I liked food and disliked exercise, I'm looking forward to the day when I can be happy with my body, and where my physical flaws are things I have no control over :)

Love your last inspiration, that's always an advantage to getting fit :)

Prolly $100 a month just for me. I'm lazy and vegan, great combo :)

I'm starting Level 2 of the 30DS, and for me, being moderately active before starting, it wasn't too bad, my quads hurt for a bit but then it was all good, so I reckon since you're pretty fit already, the 30DS would be fine

Jillian recommends doing it on alternating days, with cardio in between, and one rest day, but I'm doing it everyday because I want quicker results XD

It worked til I hit my healthy weight range, then my weight plateaued, and I'd never eat my weekly/exercise points, so, as soon as I found MFP, I joined, and it's definitely for me :) I think calorie counting can be a bit overwhelming for people who have never done a diet before, so in that instance, points are good. I…

I reckon you're going alrite looking at your diary, as long as you don't drop below 1200 calories, you'll be right. But don't be afraid to eat when you're hungry, and if you're possibly going to be eating back exercise calories, make sure your fitness level is set to sedentary, or else it will be calculated into your…

"Facebook connects the People’s Choice Scholarship with our online community, while offering applicants the best opportunity to promote themselves more effectively. Kiwis are also some of the fastest adopters of Facebook, with more users per capita than both Australia and the USA, and the diversity of sharing tools on…

Growing up, I had three older brothers, who were fed more than me, and being the greedy devil I am, I wanted MORE. We were pretty poor so the food wasn't the healthiest, so that's how I became a fatty. I'm still a teen, but I was overweight, not quite obese as were a few others. My group of friends were all overweight, so,…

Yep, same as above. Was vegan for three years, went overseas to a country where I didn't speak the language, so was vegetarian while I was there - the first few days were torturous, but you redevelop your tolerance. I assume it's the lactose, either way, it's a good incentive not to cheat XD

INDECENT EXPOSURE, INDECENT EXPOSURE *screams*

I use hard shell tacos broken in half and grilled, because I cannot justify consuming so many calories for a handful of corn chips

I do 100 mins of walking a day, so this is an easy goal for me. Unfortunately, its winter here, so it's as windy as hell, but whatever, a good resistance workout? :)

Hi, I'm Ally, originally from Auckland, but living in Palmy for now. I am keen to lose those love handles for summer, so I can wear next to nothing and look hot. :)
-
Just checked and am the same, hopefully it won't slow me down, it's crazy though, things like canned chilli beans are boosting the amount of sugar quite a lot, I'm gonna have to start cooking more XD

GW=128ish CW=161 Hoping I can get there by December, am trying to lose two pounds a week, will see how that goes, I'd like to drop two sizes, I've never been slim before so it will be interesting

I try to have a tablespoon with a large glass of water twice daily, it definitely satiates me, not sure about the metabolic stuff, but I would recommend it, also eases sore throats. It's an acquired taste, but I can easily down a diluted glass now

Am vegan, have just restarted my calorie counting, will see how it goes :)

Sounds awesome. I'm at the other side of the world, so started school in Feb, but want to trim down for summer :)
