Got brave enough to try on my size 12 jeans yesterday after realizing a couple days ago I could pull off my 14s without unbuttoning them. 12s fit perfect! Wore them all day with no issues!

Seeing the reemergence of my collar bones! They are faint and only noticeable with the right light angle but they are there!!

Not grunting or needing momentum when I pick up my 35lb almost 3 year old.

1- scratching an itch on my back and noticing the back rolls are smaller. 2- undies sliding down whilst doing burpees.

Feeling my jaw line reemerge when I wash my face in the shower each morning.

Feeling a medical grade compression garment get loose! I had to size down and the new one is starting to feel comfortable-ish...I mean how comfortable can compression really feel

How about horseback riding? Or kayaking? Or canoeing? Or hoola hooping? Or dance? Or circus arts? Those are a few from my list of things to keep me in goals to work toward.

Way to rock it! You look great and besides the weight you also just look so much healthier and happier. I LOVE seeing stories of people who have maintained. Once I hit goal my yearly celebration/giving back/motivation is going to be to post my maintenance story.

I only have one pair of jeans that currently fit. They aren't entirely comfortable even on 2nd day but they work. Anyway, the other day I was wearing them and realized it was 1st day after wash and they felt like 2nd day!! Even though my weight has gone up and down over the years my mind was never in a place where I could…

Love this thread! I'm hunting for ideas. My journey is just as much about self love as physical fitness so many of the rewards I set before don't make sense now as I see I am worth them as I currently am...I already give myself regular pampering (massage and pedicures). I also have started calling them "celebrations"…

Great advise and wonderful story! Those points are what will make this stick the rest of your life.

Today, started out bad putting me in the way of wanting to negatively emotional eat (wanting to comfort)...then I had a midwife appointment that went STELLAR (a scale victory)...which put me in the way of wanting to positively emotional eat (wanting to celebrate)! My NSV is that I resisted the urge to do either even though…

I'm with others on this! 13lbs is GREAT!! You really are doing amazing work. The gym is intimidating but by going back you are showing a great amount of strength and self-love. So important because it will show you again how very strong you are. And just think, by staying the course and taking care of you someday when you…

I, too, get frustrated by this stuff! I grew up with a belief that age was just a number and yet many of the people who helped me to form that belief as a child are now succumbing to the "I'm just old." mentality! I have seen so many wonderful articles about men and women starting running, martial arts, acrobatics, and the…

This morning I woke up very sore and in a lot of pain as well as very tired from a fitful and restless night. I also didn't wake up early enough to make/eat my healthy go to breakfast before my 2 1/2 year old woke up...I was ready to just grab a quick bowl of cereal even though I know it wouldn't set me up for the day…

That is so interesting! I think you are right that we are skewed on what healthy actually looks like between the obesity epidemic on one side on glossy mags on the other. My goal is to get down to the athletic range, not just in the normal range so I am sure I will start to get those comments too. Maybe the people who say…

I am about 5 weeks away from delivery of my 2nd child. I started both about 50lbs overweight and have gained about 50lbs both times. Lost it all the first time. Both pregnancies have been considered healthy though generally speaking if you are at a healthy weight when you get preg a 25-30lb weight gain is considered…

You look great!! I am currently 8 months pregnant with my second and am very excited to see posts like this. :-D Way to go!!

I love this! I took a hoop class last summer at Wanderlust Festival and fell in love. As soon as I am cleared for exercise after I birth my son (due in early June) I am going to sign up for a local hoop class.

I am so in love with this thread!! I have been haunting it the past few days and it just inspires me no end! No NSV is too small or too weird. I only started logging my food and getting serious about all this on 7 days ago. I am currently very pregnant with my second, due early June, so I am not focusing on weight loss…

Hello, I am 5'6" with a goal weight of 133lbs. I am currently preg with my second, due in early June. I started my first pregnancy at 166 gained 53lbs and lost it all. However, started this pregnancy at 176 and, at my midwife appointment last Thursday, I weighed in at 233! Had a gestational diabetes scare then, though,…
