Jalapeno Poppers ground italian sausage 1/3 fat cream cheese 23 jalapenos reduced fat mexican blend cheese mix the meat and cheese, stuff in peppers, bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes. Yummy. Each Jalapeno has about 50 calories :)

There have been studies done that people who drink diet sodas have bigger waistlines than those who don't. I lost a lot of weight while still drinking diet sodas. I finally kicked the habit and I'm glad I did. I'll drink it every now and then but it's water for me.

So you've been working out not even a week? Your weight can fluctuate by pounds (at least mine does, I can go up 5 lbs in a day!) You're not going to see a dramatic change in a less than a week. Stick with it for a month, and see where you're at then. Are you eating 1290 NET calories?

My my... my husband will NOT be happy.
-
probably around 20 lbs is when some people started to notice. I noticed at 10 lbs because my clothes were fitting better. At 20 lbs I noticed tummy was looking smaller, and just now at 31 lbs I've noticed my legs are a lot smaller. I think its different for everyone and just depends.
-
Well... yeah. It's selfish, that's the point. Why would you lose weight for someone else?
-
I'm 5'5, with a goal of 125. I started at 176, I'm 144 now.
-
Hell no! how uncomfortable. I only put on a bra when I go out in public. I'm 22, 36B.
-
thanks everyone :)

LOL busted I guess. Yeah, that was actually right before he deployed so I took some pictures when he wasn't looking. I'm naughty
-
haha, he said he has had nothing better to do besides working out, sleeping, and going on missions. He's very ready to come home!
-
5 months would have been about 15 days ago so i wish! lol it will be more like 7.5 months by the time he's home. And I will :)
-
oh and of course, thank you everyone :)

 you better believe it!

I searched around pintrest for different 30 day challenges (abs, arms, etc) and took what I liked and melded them together to make my own.
-
800 calories is not enough. You're dipping into starvation territory, especially if you're exercising. Focus more on toning and losing inches than on weight.
-
ab challenge! I found one on pintrest. I was a beginner and the first day was something like 15 sit ups, 5 crunches, 5 leg raises and a 10 sec plank. It steadily goes up each day. I feel a total difference in my abs and amazed myself at how many situps and how long of a plank I can do. Definitely helped me.

Shins splints suck. I had them. I took a week off from running (did the elliptical instead) and took calcium vitamins (still do). I also got new shoes for underpronators and that helped as well. I no longer have problems with my shins. Also had to ease my way back into running instead of going full on back into it.

I have a protein shake for breakfast. whey protein scoop mixed with vanilla almond milk, and I pop my vitamins. If I'm hungrier than usual I'll also eat a banana or an apple.
-
I didn't gain anything  I had my cheat days, definitely enjoyed sweets (TWO cinnamon rolls with cinnabun icing on christmas... yummy), and ate a ton on new years. But I maintained my workout schedule, and actually lost over the holidays.

mojokes back bend? lol, I couldn't tell you were doing a childs pose from your picture. I thought that was your bare stomach in a bridge.. my vision is terrible.
-
It's very nice to hear that because I feel like my stomach is my problem area! any weight gained goes to my stomach... stomach fat is my most hated enemy.

I started out with running a mile about 4 days a week. I was slow too, a 13 min mile. I usually would just run a straight mile on the treadmill and constantly up my speed. I ended up with shin splits and that put me on the elliptical for a week at 30 mins (which helped me push past a plateau!) and I stuck with it,…

Be careful with supplements. There are quite a few out there that tell you not to use them if you are pregnant or could become pregnant. I'm sure you have but check the labels just in case!

Hey there! One of my reasons for weight loss (other than joining the air force) was the hopes it would make TTC easier for us. I was about 40 lbs overweight. You should pick up "what to expect before you're expecting". It's got a whole 1/3 of the book dedicated to the diet you should have before getting pregnant, what…

I'm 1/4 in' short of 5'5, but I claim 5'5 lol Oh I'm not maintaining this, I'm still on the war path! I still have about 3 months until my husband returns from Afghanistan and I want to look killer!

Thank you, you can do it!
