calories in VS calories out should be your biggest concern, macro ratios are important as well you could easily gain weight on a full keto diet (almost no carbs) by eating over your TDEE

I'm a 29yo male I'm at 84kg and 175cm, I'm eating 2050-2100 calories with a job in retail and weightlifting at least twice a week and I'm currently losing less than 500g per week. 2800calories is a freaking bulk, use always the lowest activity level unless you do some real phisically intesive job (builder for example). Not…

I do, calories in vs calories out+every calorie counts. Some people don't eat fruit and vegetables period then wonder why they are hungry.
-
>Not sure if posting in a troll thread. I weigh my bananas.

I reached my lowest, couldn't stand my body anymore. Understanding why you overeat and start working on it is a great starting point.

Calories in vs calories out. Eat at a deficit and you will lose weight, you can't escape thermodynamics.

One year to get a normal bmi (started 8 months ago), another to become more muscular? Honestly I have no idea, I'm quite happy with myself right now.

add me if you want

1) lost 39kg (87lb) 2) joined a gym, going there at least twice a week 3) resting heart beat from 75 to 51 4) blood tests showing no liver damage for the first time in a decade 5) bmi from 44 to 28 6) bought new clothes twice 7) proved to myself that I can achieve something that I thought was impossible 8 months well spent

Italian here. Feel free to add me.

Most likely yes, we'll be cooking dinner and lunch for around 20 people so I won't have a lot of time to think about my meals or much space in the kitchen at all.

1500 eater for several months here, switched to 1700 recently. The first week was horrble, after that it became way easier. Proteins and vegetables keep me from starving. EDIT forgot to add that I'm 175cm 5'9, when I began my weights was 280lbs 127kg.

been on 1500 calories for 6 months, then switched to 1700 people with hunger issues don't eat enough proteins imo

There's no better, they work different parts of your body and obtain different results. Cardio makes you healthier, lifting makes you stronger, develop muscles (no you won't get bulky) and reshape your body. Do both.
-
If you eat a lot of proteins and fiber rich foods hunger isn't a big issue. I don't feel hungry most of the time either, for me food was a comfort thing, once I overcame the emotional part of eating it was quite easy. I still enjoy food and love cooking so I'm not completely crazy I guess...

I have a -50kg goal too, I log daily feel free to add me if you want.

As someone who has lost half of that amount (with another 25kg to go) I'm not getting a whole lot of stretch marks, still a bit of a melting candle effect though but I went really hard with my (29kg in a bit more than 5 months) cut and didn't do any exercise for my upper body. Start weight lifting (no not those body weight…

I've lost around 28kg mostly by walking 6-7km every other day as fast as I could (6,5km/h average) and doing a severe caloric deficit (1500calories for a 175cm 29yo male starting at 127kg with a starting bmr of 2400calories) in 5 months. Legs muscles held up nicely and even developed, but the lack of upper body work and…

On my first month I lost 7kg eating 1500cal and doing 6km of powerwalking (6-6,5km/h speed according to the sports tracker app on my phone) every other day, but I began at 127kg and 175cm Non obese people shouldn't expect this sort of weight loss. The following two month I've lost 6kg and during the fourth 5kg, I know my…

This website has an awesome calorie counter but a lot of members seem to be following all the kind of retarded workouts that the fitness industr pushes on them, they're adamant about it and tend to be offended easily Sometimes I feel kind of sorry for them... whatever

- read Starting Strenght (learn to squat, deadlift, bench press, snatch, etc.) - count calories - eat 1g of protein per lb of body weight (less works too but do not neglect your protein intake) - do cardio and lift stuff after some 3-4 months on Starting Strenght swap to another more advanced program since SS gives you a…

Watching the clips I can see it's a form of cardio that impacts heavily on your joints (which you really want to avoid when overweight) and lacks any benefit coming from anaerobic exercise. A stationary bike (or an elliptical machine) and some weights would develop more muscle, burn even more calories and preserve your…

Just wanted to throw there my opinion and experience, that workout looks like the stuff with heavy marketing behind (and just that, marketing without science behind) that plagues the fitness industry.

Had to google for Turbo Jam, are they really serious? Why don't you do something non gimnicky (not to use another word) that works like good old cardio+lifting free weights? Women don't get muscular like men with free weights, lifting helps a lot with weight loss and body remodeling. Take this post as a completely friendly…

My routine is the following: Wake up-->bathroom time-->breakfast-->scale if I gained weight no big deal, if I weight less I register it on MFP and my excel spreadsheet. I can plateau for up to 5 days then lose 5-600g all of a sudden. I have an industrial scale which is rather precise (+/- 100g with up to 300kg capacity),…
