You can cut a lot of fat and calories by just substituting unsweetened applesauce for 1/2 of the oil and using egg whites instead of the whole egg in your favorite recipe. Also leave off the frosting

Any sugar-free drink is a better alternative than kool-aid with sugar (plain water or not). I like to do push-ups with my hands on the counter or washing maching and step my feet back until my body is angled right and that seems to work me as much as girl push-ups but I don't have to be on the floor and I get better form. I am not good at boy push-ups either

water aerobics can help a lot. Also may pilates or another stability type workout where you have to use your core muscles. My friend and I began water aerobics one day a week about a month ago and we were suprised how good a workout it is plus we enjoy it a lot

hi andrea, welcome to the site. Glad your doc recommended it. recording food and exercise and reading about everyone's experiences is really helpful. Just tonight there was a challenge where people were working out during The Biggest Loser. Where else can you go and get that kind of inspiration. Hope you do well

I just got out of a plateau that lasted for 3-4 weeks. I just worked on watching my eating more carefully and stepped up my exercise. It took a couple weeks, but I finally dropped a pound. Keep working on it and it will pass:smile:

I agree with everyone else, when you fast it makes your body go in starvation mode. Now your body will want to store everything you eat so that it has something for next time you are starving. You should stick to eating several small meals. I have found on this program that I actually fix much larger meals than I did when…
