I think the number is different for everyone, you just have to find what works for you. I lose weight extremely slowly and I have to go very low carb to see any movement on the scale. I keep mine well below 50 grams a day and do a refeed once a week.

I work out at home, but have to wait for my hubby to help me get the weights on my shoulders (no rack) and he is always too busy, he doesn't like the weights and is always complaining. Very unrealistic that he is going to foot the bill for a rack, but I keep hoping. I have been waiting all day for his help, as today is my…

I was constantly hungry ....nothing worked, more water, more protein, more veggies etc. until I cut out the grains. It has been an amazing change for me. I haven't lost any substantial weight, but it is so much nicer than being hungry all the time. I did suffer from headaches the first couple of days, I think it was sort…

I'm primal, and the reason I dropped fruits for awhile is because I was trying to get a break from sugar (all types) Fruit was making me tired just like a candy bar would have, so I cut as much sugar as I could for about a month. I am a sugar addict. Now I try to stay under 100 grams a day, still not a huge amount of…

I use Dymatize Elite All Natural in Vanilla and Chocolate, and have never had a problem with them in the past, but since changing to a primal diet, something is bothering my stomach, i'm not sure if it's the powder or my greek yogurt ...or something else entirely. But I love the Chocolate as a shake and the vanilla I mix…

I was thinking this the other day myself. I have always lost a lot of hair, and since my daughters do too, I thought it was just a hereditary thing for us, but I am not losing near as much hair now, which is awesome.

Ditch the bun after you order if you are concerned about being difficult.... I could care less really about what people think .... if they don't like what I eat... oh well... Oh and I also will eat before I go, if I think there won't be "my kinda food" on the menu

Right now I am mostly doing "Flame Working" (melting glass rod to make beads), but I also do stained glass, knitting, weaving and spinning, leather working, and I made quilts when my kids were younger. I like to paint furniture and I read also but mostly it's textbook style to learn how to do something :) I work on my own…

I don't know about large amounts.... my dogs get a couple of spoonfuls on their food each day and love it.

I have been using a cup of warm chicken broth and it has kept the carb flu symptoms at bay. :)

I love fruit, was having a banana/strawberries in my morning smoothie and and apple with almond butter in the evenings, but I was hungry all the time.... decided to cut carbs and have not eaten a piece of fruit for 6 days and I can actually feel a difference in my hunger. So, no more fruit or sugar of any kind for awhile…

Food doesn't get absorbed

Very hard, but you can do it.... I used Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar, I put a capful in my water bottles and drank it non stop. I also would do a shot if the craving got so bad that I was going to smoke otherwise. I have quit before, but this was so much easier without so much suffering, and it really helped eliminate the…

Homemade mounds bars (real shredded coconut rolled in melted semi-sweet chocolate) .....OMG.... I can eat the whole batch in literally one weekend, no clue of the calorie count, (really need to figure that out) ......but I know it's waaaaaaay too many.
