I am trying it soon too! I vote YAY. There's a reason it's been around for so freaking long.

We do have Classpass, but only one Pure Barre location near me is on there. And Classpass has a rule you can only do 3 classes per month, and plus my understanding is Classpass members get the open spots, and my Pure Barre studio always has waitlists. So I'm not sure that'll work!

Brooks ghost!

i've thought of that. but i leave at 4 a.m (for the gym then work) and my roommates would slaughter me if i blended in the morning.

I like: 1/2 cup water 1 cup green grapes 1/2 cup fresh pineapple chunks 1/2 medium banana peeled 2 cups fresh spinach 1/2 cup ice cubes No matter what, i always put 1 cup spinach in my smoothies. You can barely taste it (!) and for someone like me, who struggles with getting my greens in, it does wonders.

Anyone ever use veggie burgers in their lettuce wraps? I was thinking about cutting one up and putting it in with some feta and peppers- maybe salsa for flavor, don't know yet. Corn? Beans?

For the ladies looking at the thread, I really like Tone It Up- Beach Babe. ;)

It took me a few months to get up the nerve to go to BP classes. I'd never done ANY strength training before, didn't know a damn thing about it, and "ohhh my gosh look at all the fit people that go to BP and look at all of that equipment!" GO! I finally one day got up the nerve to go and I'm so glad I did. I LOVE it :) I…

I've put strawberries in my water before. Delicious and refreshing!

I was in the same boat about fitness classes. I was terrified, except unlike you, I wanted to go alone so I could fumble along by myself. I was scared of being the unfit kid not knowing what to do in a class full of fit people who all knew what to do. Just go. You will not regret it because you'll get a workout. You won't…

Omg. I love this so much. Thanks for sharing!

I'm starting to learn toning is just something the fitness industry made up.

At the end of everyday. I'm debating changing it to once a week, though. My weight fluctuates a lot everyday (dunno why that was so surprising to me ha) it gets so discouraging and the scale can really sour my mood. I'm trying to focus more on how my clothes fit -a lot of them are loose! :)

Resurrecting an old thread because I was searching for feedback on BodyJam! I am debating going this week. It seems so fun.

Check out the book New Rules of Lifting for Women. I've heard such great things. The trainer who wrote the program, Alwyn Cosgrove, is highly respected in the industry. I just bought it myself! :)

Ah I've been doing research on this, too! I want to start incorporating smoothies into my daily diet. My budget for this is less than 100, so I've been looking at this one: Oster BVCB07-Z Counterforms 6-Cup Glass Jar 7-Speed Blender, Brushed Stainless/Black I'd kill for a Vitamix, though.

Right now I'm reading Jackie Warner- This Is Why You're Fat. I just bought: Brian Wansink- Mindless Eating Jillian Michaels- Slim for Life Geneen Roth- I forget what this is called but her books came highly recommended. Lou Schuyler- New Rules of Lifting for Women.

When I tracked my food religiously, and before I started going to the gym regularly, I was at 1,200. Made sense as I'm short. I've fallen off the food tracking w/ MFP wagon and need to start at it again. I think now mine should probably be bumped up to 1,250.

I like Jillian Michaels, Tone It Up, Ballet Beautiful and Blogilates. I want to try Brazilian Butt Lift as my co-workers do it and hate/love it.

I went for the first time maybe three months ago as there's one that is a five minute walk from work. The cashier told me my total and I gasped and said "Are you kidding me?!!" He looked alarmed for a second like I was about to throw a tantrum of epic proportions, but no. I just couldn't believe it! I got so much stuff and…

I'm up at 4:10, out the door by 4:25, at the gym by 4:50 and start working out by 5! If I don't do it first thing in the morning, I don't (won't) do it at all, sadly.

It took me forever to get up the nerve to go to BodyPump because it looked intimidating and I *hate* being the new, out-of-shape kid in the room full of fit people who all know what they're doing! But I am SO glad I did. I love it! I'm still really bad at it and use light weights (because I've never really done strength…
