You said you think he's concerned about your health. That's not what it is, based on just his comments. If he was concerned about your health, he would have said he was. Instead, he's holding back a marriage proposal because of your weight. I'm sorry to say this, because I'm probably the most romantically sick person I've…

^This. You need to slow down (don't stop) and take deep breaths.

Compliments - 15lbs or so New clothes - I held out for as long as I could. I only bought a couple pairs of pants and a few shirts because I do have to work looking NOT like a frumpy mess. I held out though. And I'm not buying a new wardrobe until I get to my goal weight.

Pre-diet: Burrito with white rice, black beans, chicken, tomato salsa, sour cream, cheese, and guacamole. Now: Bowl with white rice, black beans, fajita veggies, chicken, and extra tomato salsa. *sigh*

MFP needs to get on fixing this! I haven't lost significant weight in weeks!

I got one off amazon. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002HYWGWM/ref=oh_details_o06_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It's not the most advanced thing in the world, but it's quiet so no one knows I'm peddling. It has a display that tells you the amount of time. I usually log it as a stationary bike on MFP.

As far as I'm aware, timing does not affect anything. It's just caloric intake that matters. It also comes down to personal preference. For me, I feel I'm less likely to gorge myself at night if I follow a pre-set eating schedule. I plan on keeping this schedule long after I've entered maintenance, just to help me along.

Moving is better than not moving. I have a desk cycle as well. Even if you didn't burn exactly 619 calories, you still burn calories from moving. If you have legitimately changed nothing else, and feel a difference, that's how you know. :)

I've thought about this for a while. I'm not near my goal yet, but it's still something that crossed my mind. Someone suggested that you track for a year for maintenance and see how you feel. I think that may be what I do. I have some idea of the food I'm eating, definitely better than 3 months ago! At the end of the day,…

Stationary bikes are low impact. It's what my orthopedic recommended because I have a really bad knee. I now run, but it took a long time.

I feel like many people have covered on the basics, so my advice is this: try different types of exercise. You may find something that you really enjoy. Personally, I like running more than any other exercise I've tried. I've done aerobics, yoga, and kickboxing. Quite frankly, I hated kickboxing more than anything I could…

I didn't take a before. The first picture is me after losing 10 lbs in 30 days. The next was another 10 lbs gone.

My WHY started out for me. I was tired of feeling so sad, bored, and depressed. I recently moved to Chicago and started getting really bored with the same routine of getting home from work and watching tv until it was time to go to bed. I tried being fit last year and lasted until I went on vacation and then blew it all.…

What do they really think they're going to accomplish with this? Yeah, I'm not feigning over you because you screaming "yowza" out of your window...

Nail biting/picking People who don't know the difference between they're there and their or your and you're People who just stop when you're walking behind them. People who ask questions you just answered People who drive minivans when I'm running and seem genuinely confused (running on the side of the street. I'll go…

This one got a good chuckle out of me.

Well I learned something today. Thank you. :)

I count anything done intentionally to improve health regarding movement as exercise. If i go for a walk, it's exercise. If I run, it's exercise. Swimming, bowling, jogging, changing channels on the television :)

You look amazing. Ignore them! I'm dying for your body.

I have a fitbit, though it was a gift. I love the fact that it tracks my calorie burn all day, tracks what is referred to as "active minutes", sleep, etc etc. It's great for me, because it made me realize that there are days that I hardly move at all. I have a desk job and I have to push myself every day to get to 10,000…

This^ I have coffee every day, twice a day. I even add cream (no sugar)! My advice is to make it yourself. Some of those Starbucks drinks have more than 1,000 calories! I have read multiple accounts that caffeine speeds up your metabolism. Even if that isn't the case, I don't want to know! It hasn't stopped me from losing…

Mostly out of the Brita filter. Our tap water has things floating in it.

^ This I wear a size 8 and my dress is a size 14. When you get close to your wedding date, you may have to switch into maintenance until it passes. If i haven't reached my goal before my wedding in November, that's my plan.
-
So for my own goal: between 15 and 22% For my goal for my husband: between 10 and 15% (yum yum)

It also depends on what kind of workout you're doing. When I go running, if it's less than 2 miles, you don't really have to eat anything. If it's more than that, you should. And you should always try to space your snack enough so you don't feel sick while working out.

LMAO Most of my facebook pictures are of my dog. I've been posting more of myself as my confidence level rises. Maybe it's a self-confidence issue?
