  • 2 or 3 times a week, and don't forget if it's to much weight you could lose form and hurt yourself, start with a weight comfortable for you not what everyone else is doing.
  • When I first started pump lunges hurt to much for me to do more then the first part of the track, my instructor said squats are the best alternative. That's what I did and I still got a full work out. I can do now lunges but the are still times when I switch back to squats, I actually did it today in pump!
  • I'm all about the group, I have never been one who likes physical activity, even as a kid. In September I joined a gym that has classes included, I'm there 4-5 Times a week. The only thing that gets me there is the classes. It motivates me to show up when I know other people are looking for me to be there.
  • If you go to a gym try to find a class that uses weights. I love cardio and can't strand weights but I take body pump 2/3 times a week and it's an hour of barbel and hand weights and it's such a blast.
  • Spinning, my knees used to always sore from being over weight but spinning has strengthened them. I also really love step class. Don't forget, you with anything you don't have to go all out when you start, start small then build the muscles up.
  • I'm in SW-233 CW-207 GW-130 November Goal 200 (I'm going for the 7 to make me an even 200) 6th- 13th- 20th- 27th-
  • I'm a little late on this thread but I was searching for body pump and this came up. I go to a gym with Les Mills classes and I love them. But how do you track pump in your my fitness pal? I can find my other les mills classes but not pump.
  • Definitely I just added you!
  • Thank you!
  • As most people said the over the counter ones do not work. I was given a prescription for diet pills after my daughter was born, I was stuck at my weight even with diet and exercise, she only let me take it for 3 months and I had to go in and have her monitor my heart rate and blood pressure before each new prescription.…

  • I couldn't afford to buy the book either, so I got it from the library! They also had the cookbook which was helpful. I did the whole 30 for only 2 weeks, I felt better but I work with wine and when you can't even taste (that's right it says you need to start over if you even have a sip) it just didn't work for me.
  • Like most people said you can eat bread and loose weight, it all depends on your body. For me personally I usually have bread with breakfast or lunch then avoid high starches after that. Once in a while I'll have something with dinner but it's not very often. If you find you are plateauing with your weigh loss then cutting…

  • I try to prep as much as I can after I go grocery shopping. Taking an extra 30 minutes to cut up veggies saves me so much time and is sure I always have healthy veggies ready to cook.
  • This is probably the wrong advice but I use mine if I want a drink. I don't like using my food calories for alcohol so if I work out I use the extra calories to have wine, not all my extra calories but it's a nice way to drink without the guilt of 120 calories per 5 oz of wine!
  • I agree with most people on here. My food scale has been the best tool for me. I weigh everything before I eat it. Also an 8oz liquid measuring cup, I pretty much just drink water, coffee and tea but when I want a glass of wine it's come in handy to know what an actual serving size is
  • Breakfast has always been harder for me while counting calories because try as I might I can not cook egg whites lol. Most morings I have sautéed veggies, featuring mostly green, with an over easy egg on top. To help offset the egg yolk I don't add any cheese and i sautéed it all with just a little water. It's never been…
