  • I can understand how you felt, lost my wedding ring once years ago after losing 60 lbs. Good for you, but don't forget to get the ring fixed. BTW do you have the ring insured?, if not contact your insurance agent right away, they will need an appraisal for it and it usually doesn't cost much to add to a home policy or…
  • That is pretty much what I have been thinking. Spoke to my family Doc yesterday....Told me to tell my hubby that it's kind of like him riding his motorcycle with no tire...LOL. I found this kind of funny cause he is currently on a short bike trip south, should be home tonight. I had a cortisone shot at my last visit and it…
  • My left knee is bone on bone and the doctor has recommended a knee replacement. Right now i'm working on losing weight and strengthening. I'm swimming and doing water aerobics for cardio, but even that is painful. At this point, i'm taking it one day at a time and trying not to over do. Everyone here has been super with…
  • So met with my doctor today and he pretty much said there was nothing left to try and the next step is . Have to now weigh all the pros and cons. Any thoughts that I should consider or questions I should ask the doctor?
  • I love all the answers on this one. Every picture posted - you're all absolutely beautiful! I have more freckles than I know what to do with. Being a redhead I don't tan well and I figure one day all my freckles will run together and I will have a wonderful tan....LOL. Jaymi
  • I totally understand this issue as I am also struggling with my left knee. I injured it in 2010 and had to have surgery to correct a tear and ended up with a staff infection two weeks later, it has been downhill since then. I have been doing water aerobics and even that is painful, but I am sticking with it as it is more…
  • No picture that I can find, but I want a pair of motorcycle chaps to go with my jacket, but I will probably have to have a new jacket as well by then.
  • Right now I am doing water exercises. Monday & Wednesday I do water aerobics at the YMCA and then swim laps for 45 mins to an hour on the other days. With my knee screwed up it's about all I can handle.
  • Physical therapy only helped for a short time. I have an appt next week with doctor, so will see what he says. Right now I feel very limited in what I can do as just walking a short distance is painful.
  • I would like to make this journey with you as I need to lose closer to 150 lbs. Would like to be you're friend.
  • Hi MJ, I was also using Spark. I really like MFP much better. I feel much the same when I feel limited. I weigh in every morning so that I can see where I am at for the day. I also keep track of every thing I eat. Hang in there, we're with you on this
