NSV...and a (near) heart attack

Today, I looked down and noticed my (fairly recently acquired) engagement ring was missing while typing at work. I ran frantically through my office in search of the lost ring, in tears, mind you. Thankfully, I found it at the bottom of my purse. Now I have a makeshift ring guard until I can make it out to get a real one.
It makes me happy, but I can do without a new heart attack in the future!

I can understand how you felt, lost my wedding ring once years ago after losing 60 lbs. Good for you, but don't forget to get the ring fixed. BTW do you have the ring insured?, if not contact your insurance agent right away, they will need an appraisal for it and it usually doesn't cost much to add to a home policy or renters policy.0
