  • Have you tried Google?
  • To follow up - Lift as heavy as you can until you can't lift it any more! Don't use girly light weights. Seriously, you can do it! You muscles are just dying to be used, and to be lean. That's what we are designed to do. The Jamie Eason LiveFit - http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/jamie-eason-livefit-trainer.html Read through…
  • I eat lots, and lift lots, and am always happy with how things are going. I lift 3 days a week, and will occasionally throw a stand-alone cardio day in (but sometimes i just lift faster for cardio). Read up on anything Jamie Eason has written as well. She is great inspiration.
  • Thank you for mentioning your experiences are YOU experiences. I appreciate that :)
  • I am surprised no one has backed up what they are saying with research yet. I have been looking into this for myself, and think it sounds like the most sensible thing possible. Most of the problems it sounds like people are having are PERSONAL problems. Based on my research, not everyone experiences the same hang-ups and…
  • As a married lady, I just have to suggest that you trust your gut. You don't need to justify why something makes you uncomfortable. But, you know your husband best. If his intentions were slimy and skeezy, be upset! If he was posting because he is a supportive, nice guy, don't be upset. Here's a thought - why not ask him…
  • Well, I am Canadian, and if I buy banana chips, I am buying them from Bulk Barn (which is just a store to buy bulk, loose food from). They list ingredients and nutritional information on their website, so I pulled up banana chips. http://www.bulkbarn.ca/en-ca/products.html?product=2558&search=banana+chips With a 100 gram…
  • I think it should be our own responsibility to fulfill our sexual needs - and our spouses have the luxury of coming along for the ride. However, it is an incredible thing to be in a partnership with someone who cares about your needs and wants to help you take care of it! I am shocked that he would draft up a contract. Way…
  • I am Canadian, and this is a Canadian document, but reading these ingredients is enough to get me to make a better choice :) http://www1.mcdonalds.ca/NutritionCalculator/IngredientFactsEN.pdf I also seem to remember some sort of rumour that the '100% Beef' claim stemmed from them using the beef from a company CALLED '100%…
  • i bought the chocolate ones to curb my cake/chocolate cravings. not an every day thing, but i was a fan :)
  • Let's see this group of locals grow! So great to see everyone on here and motivated to change their lives!
  • 1. Men working on their back - especially if they are in a douchy ripped open tank. 2. My husband doing deadlifts. 3. Friendly staff - especially if they are puttering and cleaning when they dont really need to be, or if they do a set in order to help someone with their form. 4. Clean machines. 5. Emptiness - I work out at…
  • Eat more to weigh less! Check out that board, and read this :) http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/680246-tdee-bmr-what-they-are-and-what-to-do-with-them oh! and this! http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-12 It will help explain why you are so hungry! • Hey! I am also a teacher. We have balanced days (3 100 minute blocks with breaks in between each) which I find actually helps me with my portion control and my schedule. I eat breakfast at home, and something small before class starts (maybe), then a protein heavy snack at first break, lunch during second break, and an…
  • If I catch myself in the middle of a binge (which has been few and far between lately thanks to MFP - accountability!), and I am able to stop (which sometimes I am not), I will go brush, and floss my teeth and swish with mouthwash. I hate ruining that super minty taste with more food and USUALLY it is enough to get me to…
  • Hello! I eat clean about 85% of the time. Feel free to add me. I am just starting (albeit half way through the prescribed program) Jamie Eason's Live Fit program, and follow Tosca's guide with some help from Pinterest, friends and Oxygen Magazine. :) Add away!
  • I am 5'4" and am currently at 150. My ultimate goal is 133 (2 lbs less than my favourite weight was in university). I am hoping to do this with diet and exercise, though I think that since I build muscle fast, I may have a challenging time seeing that number on the scale drop. I am going to try and find out what my BF% is…
  • I keep roasted almonds (so they don't go rancid as fast) and protein bars in my purse so that I don't get hangry (hungry/angry) if I'm out and can't eat. Some times I will pack cheese, or home made Lara Bars! yum yum yum.
  • Hey Canadian Beth! Add me if you like! I am Canadian Mallory from Ottawa :)
  • Im 26 and am trying to lose 16lbs. I am 5'4" and 150 today. I have been up and down for the last few years with my highest weight at 168. I am looking for supportive friends to help me, too! Feel free to add me. I just joined yesterday.
  • Hey! I follow a few bloggers who share lots of great Gluten-free stuff. If you are in Pinterest, there are lots of great resources there. Here are a few :) http://greenlitebites.com/ Lots here are gluten free, and clean! http://cleaneatingchelsey.com/gluten-free/ This girl has lots of great recipes, as well. I like her…
  • I just go to my local community centre. It is alright, though quite cramped and full of teenagers (it shares a parking lot with a high school). If I can get there during an 'off' time, it is really nice. Close, inexpensive, and everyone (except the teenagers) and there to actually get stuff done.
  • Who's that girl??? It's Jess! I love that show, and no one had humoured you with the song yet :) Oh, and hello everyone! It doesn't look like this group is that active any more - but I am Mallory. I just recently got married and spent 6 weeks 'celebrating.' I lost any progress I had worked toward before the wedding, and a…
  • Hi! I just joined MFP today. I have been eating (mostly) clean since January, but got married in May and 'celebrated' for 6 weeks. Now I am paying for it, and am trying to get back on board. I am hoping that with MFP + Tosca Reno's guidelines and Jamie Eason's workouts, I will be able to get my life back together - maybe…
