  • That is hard to do but don't try to find something to eat for that 25 calories you have left. Tomorrow you may go over a little.
  • I got tired of going to a restaurant and searching the menu for the healthiest and most diet friendly thing on the menu. I started eating anything I want to, sweet tea, sweets, not portion control etc. Guess what. I have packed on 19 lbs since last summer. Most of it in the past 6 months. Today I start fresh AGAIN. I have…
  • Okay! I have been looking for a group on MFP for a long time. Either it fizzles out or I can't find the group again. I will be 70 in April and I have battled with my weight since I turned 50 and started menopause (sorry guys). I have gained 10 lbs over this winter and I would like to lose 15 lbs. I have done every diet in…
  • Oh, the only thing good about sugar is it makes things taste good.
  • Sugar is empty calories. Sugar feeds cancer. Sugar produces candida yeast which causes all kinds of problems. My doctor said he would rather me have a little sugar than the substitutes which, by the way, are bad for you! I use local raw honey in my coffee. It is all about moderation though.

  • Hello, I'm 69 years old, very healthy and have made a career of trying not to be overweight. I have done MFP before and now I remember why I quit. I can never get back to the conversations that I try to follow. I am interested in exercise, healthy eating and encouragement. I don't mean to be rude but I'm not really…
  • I am a Christian. I have 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. I hate liver. I love hamburgers. I am happy to say I am married to a wonderful MAN. I am 68 years old and still work 3 days a week.
  • I do that all the time. I'm either saying "no wonder she is obese, or how does she eat all that junk and still be skinny" I guess you can call me the snob. LOL. Just because they are skinny doesn't mean they're healthy though. I too have had the cashier comment on my food choices. One said "I would love to eat like that…
  • I don't mean this as sarcasim but if you think it is tasteless then why not add all the other salad fixings and enjoy. As far as health benefits, I read that it's good to eat anyway because it adds water to your diet and that makes it good for you.
