  • Thanks for being sympathetic to the wine whine. I figure I can skip it or make room for it in my day. At this point, I'm more prepared to make room for it. I know, sounds lushy...but I like my wine. As for the cheese, most dairys are OK for me. Greek yogurt, cottage cheese etc are usually fine. It's the cheddar and…
  • My fave is paleomg.com...love her!
  • Last year I lost 20 pounds with WW, I did OK, but then it just all stalled out. In Jan of this year I moved to the 17 day diet which lead me to primal/paleo and lost another 20. I feel soooo much better! Migraines & eczema are also gone without the the wheat. Crazy stuff. I'm still figuring out the ratios that are best for…
  • Good to know...thanks!
  • I wouldn't worry too much about sodium. Once you kick out all processed food, most of that sodium is gone. Because of this, don't be afraid of salt! It makes food delicious! Salt your food!! It's the processed stuff that will do the damage.
  • I can't buy all organic/grass fed either. But I do what I can so when I see a good deal on grassfed, I buy it. If I don't, I buy what we can afford. Most of our produce are organic, but there are some weeks when I can't do everything so I just try to focus on the dirty dozen. Just do what you can...that's all you can do!
  • I do a pilates reformer class or a yoga class 3-4 times a week. I do some sort of cardio type exercise 2-3 times a week, it often includes walking, running, hiking, biking, paddle boarding etc. I just make sure I get out there and do something for at least 45 minutes or so. I also try to give myself one day off a week.
  • I have two little ones, 5 and (almost) 3. Went "primal" about 6 months ago with no loss to my milk supply, even after losing 20 pounds. She has now weaned, so I'm having to step it up a little. HEY! I just realized, maybe that's why these 5 pounds snuck up on me...it would totally make sense timing wise. Duh...I can't…
  • Yeah, I threw in some potatoes for the kidlets. Darn, wish I had some celery. But I think I'll definitely throw in more garlic. Maybe even a red bell pepper...hm...
  • Done! Thank you so much. I think I'll even throw some chard in there in the last half hour. *OK...BBQ sauce is going back to the back of the pantry...that was a close one...
  • http://pinterest.com/ciria/food-i-want-to-make-eat/ I can't wait to get my pinterest on tonight looking at all your recipes!
  • When I'm working during the school year, my favorite go-to breakfast is hard boiled eggs. I boil & peel a huge batch on weekends and grab a couple each workday morning. I'll throw in a little sea salt and 21 seasoning salute from Trader Joe's. I'll also often have a small container of veggies to eat soon after. It's not…
