That is way, way high. Excercise machines are notorious for how much they overestimate.... An honest, tough, hourlong effort, without looking at heart rate, fitness level, age, etc, is more likely 5-600.

First off, not a doctor, but just my experience.... I used to weigh 325 and get migraines weekly, if not more often. Lots of pretty flashing lights followed by hours and hours of evil. Ugh. Tried bunches of different medications, food/diets, etc Well, over 2 years, I got down to about 180, and I've had 1 migraine in the…

I generally run every single day, with about 3 days per week being two runs per day (in addition to swimming and biking). You need to…

I know isn't quit the questions, but its worth pointing out... One thing to keep in mind for all this: treadmill speed does not equal outdoor speed. First, most treadmills will be miscalibrated anywhere from 3-10% (set any two treadmills in the gym to the same speed and watch how they don;t stay even). Second, you have no…

I run. A lot. A lot lot. (70-80 miles per week) in addition to swimming and biking...generally working out about 25 hours per week. Hey, you said excessive excercise.... Now, you know what I do when I go on vacation? I enjoy my time, eat whatever I like, and be happy. Instead of making food the focus of the vacation, make…
