I have already put in working out 3-5 days a week (as opposed to sedentary) which puts my calories higher each day. I understood that BC of that I would NOT eat back exercise calories. So...verify anyone??

When I clic ed on Burts id it said deactivated. Thanc Goodness (about the exercise calories). Or would it be better to use the TDEE and say "sedentary" and THEN eat my exercise calories bac ? Than s so much for your help:love:

I am 41. 5'1 I/2" I started at 263ish...now down to 210. Slow going...but making lifestyle changes that are positively the only way to go. Good luck on the journey!

I was pleasantly surprised when I changed over from 1200 calories to 1500. That is about 75% of my TDEE. I started losing the weight from the first day. It's been about a week...this morning I got a new number!! (BC, I had actually started GAINING on 1200)

Try to remember the reason you wanted to do it in the first place and focus on that. You and everyone else around you will know how hard you are working without you having to toot your own horn (as it seems she will be doing). If it was important to you and it still is don't let ANYTHING stand in your way. Just saying !!…

Same here. I think people are just afraid to mention it bc it is a sensitive subject. I did have a lady at my church the other day ask me if I had been sick...which was not very flattering...and I just smiled but I could have done without that! LOL :huh:

Seems like a reasonable goal for May! I wish you luck and determination (which is SO much more valuable than luck). What's been the hardest so far?

SW: 263.2 CW: 210.4 GW: 130 Total lost up to now...52 I think. Fitness Goal: I want to start doing SOMETHING. I have never been an athlete or even interested bc I have never had success in this area. But I know it will be the next step
