anyone can add me if they are looking for a buddy :)

i typically work out in the morning and i’m the type that has no appetite after a cardio session. in fact, i can go without eating till 3-4pm, despite waking up at 7am during non-lockdown days. i do that half the time. other times, i eat at about 1pm. my last meal is anytime between 7-8pm. i started serious IF in December…

anyone is welcomed to add me if they need a fitness buddy :)

i practise intermittent fasting, which helps me put a lid on overeating. Let’s say i walk past an amazing smelling bakery around midday, i’ll buy something from it and turn it into lunch. i’m pretty full after that and i don’t feel too tempted by other things. early evening, if i still have some amazing bread, i’ll have it…

entering mcdonald’s in singapore these days is like entering fort knox. you have to scan a qr code to enter, fill in your identification details and then when you exit, you have to do the same, which makes no sense because they don’t allow people to dine in any longer so we are only in there for a short while. going to…

i always feel pumped when i get into an old t-shirt and i realise how loose it is on me. it’s a good reminder how far i’ve come and not to ever go back! 💪

it’s just impossible to measure everything if you are the type who eats out most of the time. a muffin in one place is going to be different from a muffin in another and who the heck carries a weighing scale around with them on the go? i mean, kudos to the person who carries around a packed lunch everyday but i would…

@ccrdragon anecdotally speaking, I would say that IF helped clear up my skin a little and I observed that one of my friend’s liver spots lightened noticeably after going on IF for a few months. Both of us did nothing else differently except starting IF. There are lots of websites that list out the health benefits like:…

IF helps me deal with unnecessary snacking and it does have other health benefits too if done right. i’m definitely a proponent.

and then i mopped my apartment 🥵

1. stop beating yourself up. the sum of you is not the few failures you’ve experienced. you are much much more. focus on the little successes everyday. rather than the little failures. your little successes will eventually become a big success. 2. anything good in life comes with patience and hard work. it will take months…

@brooklynans910 once upon a time i tried bbg but i was really weak back then and i couldn’t do certain exercises. i’m glad she has that new programme for absolute beginners now! i’m locked into my Freeletics subscription for a few more months and i’ll be checking bbg out again! thanks @bexdc will be checking those apps out!

Pilates, like yoga, if done slowly and mindfully, is a good everyday exercise. The only caveat is for beginners. First three months of anything, slow and steady is best. Beginners pilates maybe about 3x a week first and see how it goes :)

what kind of apps are you all using? i’m using the freeletics app for running and body weight workouts

i’m 5’1 and would like to weigh anywhere between 110 and 115, depending on how much muscle i gain too.

i know how you feel. seeing results is a real motivation. unfortunately losing weight is a long haul process and then MAINTAINING the loss is life long. you will need to make lifestyle changes because your habits define you. schedule exercise into your week and bursts of activity throughout the day. maintain a calorie…

after a freeletics session :)

anyone can add me if they need motivation:)

you’re on fire!

anyone who would like some encouragement can add me :)

agree with the rest of the replies. you will not be doing yourself a favour trying to catch up with those 4k calories. take the time to analyse your eating habits. did they happen when you were bored, stressed or watching netflix? once you get to know yourself, you can adjust your habits and live a healthier lifestyle :)

omg too cute. i just downloaded it

i started running during the lockdown so my thoughts are generally different variations of “omg i’m dying”. the bus stops i pass are my yardsticks so i occasionally have thoughts like “omg it’s still so far away” as well.

just found this group. i’m turning 47 in a few months and i’m taking this time during lockdown to whip myself into shape. i’m following the freeletics running and body weight exercise apps and really enjoying them. add me if you would like a buddy in your age range :)
