all your goals are still achievable! i’m very sure you will be a happy bride 😊 with regard to weight loss, just remember it is all about calories in and out. incorporate more protein into your diet and walk a bit more. slow and steady wins the race!

add me if you need a buddy :)

hmm. could you be retaining water or gaining muscle? there have been times when i lost inches but the scale hardly reflected it. my muscle mass went up and my fat percentage went down though. sometimes i don’t see any real results after weeks of work and then suddenly my weight drops. as long as you are running a calorie…

anyone looking for support, pls feel free to add me :)

besides food prepping, it’s also good to visualise what you are going to do the next day. when are you going to exercise? where and what are you going to eat? will you be near a place where you can grab a healthy meal? nothing derails weight loss more than lack of planning :)

bingeing can happen when you are bored or when you feel that food is the only good thing to look forward to. sometimes i feel like a fried chicken meal is the only thing that can make up for a crappy or boring day! intermittent fasting helped me to control my bingeing because i don’t give myself permission to eat at 9pm…

you’re welcome! all the best and stay healthy!

it’s always difficult sticking to your guns when you have work and family to take care of. just remember that if you overeat at one meal it doesn’t mean you fail! just make sure your next meal is healthier and take it from there :)

don’t think in terms of motivation but habits. if you know that you are going to snack mindlessly if you watch tv, then don’t watch tv. i find it harder to snack when my hands are occupied so i’ll read a book or play a game (although if you really wanted to snack while doing these, you still can lol. i just personally find…

you’re doing a good job. keep going!

I’ve also struggled with depression although i think my friends and family would be shocked to hear of it. What’s helping me right now is exercise and sugar control. i always feel better after yoga or at least a walk. i notice that excessive carbs, especially sugar, tend to make my moods jagged. i try to build in more…

I miss my gym too, especially the yoga teachers. However, I discovered that I could actually run (slowly, rofl). Been running for the last 2 weeks and started adding in body weight exercises again. Lost 2kg so it’s working!

i’ve actually posted quite a number of my daily meals on IG. check it out at aparfaitlife:)

low sugar sloppy joes without the bun

congratulations! your advice is really motivating. i’m going to look at my diet again and see if i can clean it up anywhere :)

add me! i’m about 14 pounds from goal weight. can’t afford to lose sight of the goal!

i’ve been practising 16:8 IF since December and i’m seeing progress. add me! 😊

You may not even need a gym to get started! some of the most motivational success stories i’ve heard started with a walk everyday (10000 steps or a 3-5 mile walk to begin with) and after a while, you can try out the machines at the gym or practise body weight exercises at home using any of the free workouts on YouTube.…

keto and IF are both good ways to shed pounds. i’ve had success with both but fell off the keto wagon after a while because i had to give up so many of my favourite foods. but when i was on keto, my energy levels and health markers were great, once i got past the first few weeks of keto flu. keep doing what you’re doing…

i’ve been practising IF for a few months now and it’s helped me keep the weight off. i see most results with 16/8 but i’ve heard of people who start off with 12/12 first before going further. i struggled with 16/8 at first but adapted after about 2 weeks. now, i don’t feel the need to overeat at all. i highly recommend it 💪

I’m in! committed to doing a mix of yoga and Freeletics running/body weight training. i’m also practising intermittent fasting and CICO so recording everything i put in my mouth is vital. i’m not going to GAIN the quarantine 15 but LOSE it!
-
yeah, my house is really clean too 😂

CICO works for sure. the only time it doesn’t work for me is when i don’t faithfully note what i eat. i pair CICO with intermittent fasting and i run for half an hour every morning. when i used to have access to the gym, i did HIIT with some weights and that added some muscle to my previously flabby self. since the…

i’m 47 and I have come to realise that i gain weight when i Netflix 😂 cos when you are watching TV, it is almost impossible not to munch. i got the freeletics running app and i force myself to do the easier free programmes. my stamina is slowly improving and i’ve lost 2kg so far since lockdown started. i actually quit my…
