I'm afraid if I take a week off from working out I won't go back to it! lol but I hear what you are saying. I didn't think about stress eating. I was trying to figure out if I needed to make any changes because I was doing so well and that first 30 pounds came off so easily. Basically just eating less and burning more.…

thanks all for the advice. I really thought that 3 weeks was a stall. LOL I went back over my diary...there were three days where I didn't log in at all due to the funeral. I worked out those three days but my food wasn't all that great. As for weights and working out in place. I really like the elliptical. It provide a…

no not lifting yet. I do use resistance on the elliptical since I use the interval settings.

life kicked in with a death in the family, working some long hours but I have tried to stay true.

if you are wearing boots then maybe a long skirt. I suppose it depends on what kind of wedding she is having. Formal, semi-formal? Casual.

If I were you I would ignore all the smart *kitten*'s in this group and not worry too much about 1teaspoon. It will work itself out in in other ways.

Congrats! Awesome work. And...thank you for your service. I have to agree...little changes here and there seem to be the ticket. I have found this trip a lot easier than any of the fad diets I have been on. I wish I had realized this years ago instead of in my 40's.

there is not shame. You know what to do to lose so if you took a couple of days off don't worry about it. If you don't lose weight this week...so what. Stop with the guilt. IT's a waste of time. You got right back on track so no issues.

I don't have any advice since I have just started my journey. But I have several friends who are stay at home Mom's and honey if you think you are sedentary you got another "think" coming. Those women are on 24/7 and I imagine you are too. If any guy rags you...I would say he is feeling threatened and that isn't your…

I allocate the calories so I can have dessert if I want. My failure at dieting was that I had to cut something out. This time I am learning to eat better and healthier without feeling deprived. That being said...have the cake.

You could try Stevia in the Raw. It doesn't have that licorice taste. But, I haven't tried it in hot coffee. Only Iced coffee and Iced Tea.

I remember the Rice Candy. My favorite is Chocolate covered cashews. Then Recee cups

I am afraid to eat back the calories I burn after I work out. I have been losing weight so I'm not complaining about that but it seems that the intake needs to be less than the outgo in order to lose.

Hey Kibby....I started this journey about a month ago. I had 100 pounds to lose. I have lost 13 so far. I am finding that this site is a huge help. For once I am not doing a fad diet I am just learning what calories are in what foods....and then trying to find healthier ways to eat that I can live with on a permanent…

Where is my like button? I don't get the makeup thing unless you have been at work but whatever. It is just as annoying as seeing a guy who spends all his time in front of the mirror or worse is so arrogant that he refuses to wipe off his sweat. Just saying.
