I weigh myself daily because I am trying to track a little closer what my daily habits do for or against me. That said, your body can fluctuate up to 2lb per day so weighing weekly or monthly is a better option for most people.

It could be tendinitis. Repetitive motion with the same area of a body can wear down tendons and even cause tears. If it is severe, it will need to get checked out...

I am cutting most potatoes out of my diet (especially fries), but I was in Chick-Fil-A last week and thought I should go with something like Cole Slaw instead of fries. That changed when I looked at the Calories, Fat, etc. Cole Slaw was worse than the fries.

I would never call fidgeting silly. I've read articles that say that people who fidget (especially those who shake their legs constantly like me) burn up to 300 calories per day. I do not include fidgeting as a daily exercise but I do fidget because all the fidgeting I do is like exercise dessert.
