Interesting about the anxiety :/ I guess I might not have to worry about having so much protein after all because I'm already taking anti depressant/anxiety meds! So I don't need anymore "mood swings." My thoughts can have a mind of their own!

How do I go about knowing if I do this lol? A boring chicken breast...most things I need a carb to go with or it's too blah. For example, today I had tuna salad, with greek yogurt (protein) but I included a wheat bagel 1/2.

OK how much should someone be getting with just protein for example? Today, my ratio has been 51% card (mainly wheats...bread) 19% protein, I think good... and 30% fat. and I haven't even eaten any dinner :/

Idk if 60% is a lot over...I donate blood once a month and when I had my blood tests taken it actually said I was anemic, but that was two days after I donated. I know you're supposed to take all 3 pills everyday because they include other nutrients for your health, I wouldn't normally get.

My goal weight is 132 though, it set me on this plan so I wouldn't wanna up my calories randomly. Some days I have trouble finding enough nutritious things to eat already to fill the intake!

I'm unemployed, I try and go for dog walks & do cardio... (stair climber and eliptical, typically 30mins.) Strength training is like more of an every other day thing; if I'm not sore--couple times a week on arms/legs/abs.

OK, in response to my basal metabolic rate...which I never heard about until now. It calculated that if I wanted to keep my current weight I'd eat 2,015 calories. The website recommends if I don't have a lot of weight to lose for me to only take off 500 calories from that. I'm only knocking off 200 of that--but it also…

I have it set for 1300. Lately, I've been skipping my lunch. I've also tried recipes on Skinnytaste.com, this stuff takes dedication, motivation, and energy. Right now my motivation and energy are pretty low, thus the post. Thanks for positive feedback!

Made this today the sauce was the most putzy (in fact the blender leaked out and when I lifted it up to pour in the pan, it spilled all over the counter top lol!) <-- I just scooped it with my hands-the oven was preheated the whole time and this recipe took a while to put together all the ingredients! Not enough. High protein, low carb diets are best for those trying to lose weight I know... I might eventually buy some kind of protein powder/shake mix :)

Hey girl! You're definitely NOT alone with your depression issues. I've been on and off depression and anxiety meds for years. I just lost a job due to a "bad attitude" which was actually from social anxiety and I haven't been employed for almost a year now! Anyway, we can pull through this. Have faith :)
